It’s a miracle! My sweetie is sleeping in bed for the first time in weeks!! He didn’t even wake when I went in to don my grubbies. So while he’s snoozing, I’ll run to the convenience center and CVS. Then home to clean the smoker, finally, ick.
Trash and recycling are gone. But CVS in Leonardtown didn’t have the percocet - of all things!!! I’ll take it to the one near where I work tomorrow. Luckily, he’s not in a lot of pain and he’s got a few left over from the last prescription.
It’s clouding over - who ordered more rain???
Howdy Y’all! Hump Day has been survived. YAY! Dindin shall be meatballs ‘n gravy, rice, and peas ‘n carrots. Easy and tasty just the way I like my dindin and my men. Tomorrow is quesadilla night. OLÈ! After dindin a trip to the IGA sto’ in da Burg is on the agenda. They have boneless, skinless chikin boobs, cubed beef steak, and squish on sale! Plus, to reward ourselves after an ardous round of shoppin’ we can swing through MickeyD’s and get mocha frappes.

It’s ninety degrees outside, and the AC is busted; work today has been… unpleasant.
We et dindin, went to the sto’, got our frappes, got the groceries all put away, and I shreded smoked chikin boobs for tomorrow’s quesadillas. Howzzat for bzzy! Plus also we discussed Fourth of July doin’s. I expressed a desire to do burgers, hot dawgs, N.O.T. sallit, slaw, and watermelon. All-Amurrkin and not too labor intensive. We’ll see how that plays out.
Fonz yuck! Hope the a/c is fixed soonest.
Sorry about that. Mine just got fixed within about the last hour, after two rather unpleasant days. My apartment managed to stay around 80, but that’s still too warm, IMO. The cat probably didn’t appreciate box fans in windows all night, either (she dislikes noisy objects).
Does anyone have a rich relative who could legally adopt me, include me in their will to the tune of 2.5 million, then die in a not at all mysterious or specious manner? That’d be great.
Maybe Flytrap will volunteer to that last bit. 
OYKW has retired to the boudoir and is out like a light. I shall join him shortly.

Well, the rain that has been predicted for several days finally showed up, accompanied by tunder and lightin’, not a long storm (about an hour) but a good soaking so I can pass on having to water the yard this week.
Rosie dis propose marriage when she learned that I rubbed my Wives’ feet.

Okay, wait a minute, I have to pull a circuit breaker…which one is it?

The Penguins won — I believe. I have mentioned that I’m not much of a hockey fan anymore, right?
Still catching up on lost slumber. I went to be at 8 last night, flipped thru the TV for a few minutes because it makes me drowsy, and I’m pretty sure I was unconscious by 8:30. I woke once with a coughing fit, but I think that was all.
**FCD **slept in the guest room - he said that mattress gives him better support. I hate that mattress, but it doesn’t matter - he’s sleeping like a normal person again and that’s good.
I’ve breakfasted and I’m caffeinating, but it’s about time to head out the door. We’ll see how I survive the next 2 days…
