Okay, here’s the email I got:

I may just be thinking of the email from posterous.
I just posted this to my own posterous account so I’m just going to copy and paste instead of typing it all out again.
I gotta be honest. I wanted to do this to challenge myself but I am getting more and more annoyed with this site. I thought I finally had it worked out, email both Thing-A-Day and my posterous at the same time and both would be posted, then edit in my pics afterwards. Well, only the one to my posterous went through even though I had TAD listed as the first address. So I go to edit in my pics and try and fail several times, either they don’t load, it loads the same pic or I finally get it correct and updated then look at it and one of the pics has disappeared. I’m going to give the TAD email until morning to see if it goes through. What difference does it make if I post yet another Thing a day late?
Wile E, mine took a while to go through last night, and for some reason putting both address in the address field did not work for me, it only went to the first one. I had to do them separately.
I’ve tried posting to the new site twickster set up - let me know if it worked!
Uh oh, not seeing it – when I tried to post via email last night, it didn’t work, I had to go to the page and post by hand.

I did mine with the TAD email in the first field and mine in the CC field. I think the attachment problem is a problem with my hotmail but once I go into the TAD post and edit it, all the problems I get with that are all due to that site.
Those who did it last year, was it this obnoxious?
I finally figured out why my hotmail wouldn’t allow attachments. It was the font size, once I changed that the attachment links worked again. So next post I can actually try including my pics in the email.
My clever idea of sending the same e-mail to the Thing a Day, Le Ministre and SDMBTAD Posterous sites doesn’t seem to be working. I would seem that I have to send one e-mail at a time - baffling.

All right guys. That’s enough Posterous bullshit. Let’s do our own thing. I made a Shutterfly account for us. Use email address sdmbtad @ yahoo.com, and password tad2011. Go on in, upload your photos into an album with your name. I have mine in there already.

Now posterous doesn’t recognize my user name or password to sign in, so I can’t see my subscriptions. I know they’re correct. NOT impressed with that website, but I am still posting there (It’s still allowing me to post from e-mail.) I could see freckafree’s new bracelet, though, on my e-mail summary, and it looks fabulous! Great job. Sorry I can’t see anyone else’s right now.
I can’t get into Posterous at all right now, since yesterday morning. Whoever I said I’d change from subscriber to contributor – sorry, can’t until I can get into the site.
I did finally get into Shutterfish and started an album there.
Yeah, maybe this year’s response was too big for Posterous to handle. I don’t think the Shutterfly site is perfect, since we can’t post comments, but I’m not sure what else to do for now. I am also blogging this on my own (link is in my profile, I don’t want to be “advertising” or anything), so if you want to see explanations or leave comments, feel free to visit. Do you guys have blogs? Blogspot is easy to use, if you wanted to try. I think I could figure out how to start a brand new blog with us all as contributors, but it might take a couple of days. Let me know if you want me to look into it.

Antigen – your stuff is so nice! I have a hard time being so neat when I do crafty stuff, as you can tell. And I love the photo of the cat – cool angle.
BTW, you can rename files and add a short description – remember to click “replace description” at the top of the popup box that you do it in. A little clunky but it does work.
The butterflies came out of a bag of “premium sequin mix” I got out of the kids’ crafts aisle at Target. You may see more premium sequins before the month is out …

I don’t know if I have it in me to join and post to another group right now.
What really annoys me about the TAD blog is there is no way that I can find to go back and check previous posts for comments except to slog through every page again. If I go to my posterous all I see are the things I posted there. If I click another poster’s name it takes me to their site, not the stuff they posted on TAD. And to find another poster I have to click the subsciber list and slog through the list because they aren’t in any kind of order. Tags might be a way to search if we were consistent with using it but I only remembered once.
I haven’t had any luck searching with the tags or people’s names. Always get no results. Pretty bad website. Maybe at the end of this, we could all post a link to wherever we consistently put our work, just so everyone could see what was done.
