RT is working this weekend so I’ll be unsupervised. 
I’m running in a 4 mile Halloween race on Saturday and for now there’s a 100% chance of rain. Hopefully the odds will be more in my favor closer to the race because I will be there, rain or shine. The good news is that my dad lives about 1 block away so I can change clothes and don’t have to drive home soggy.
Here’s my new running shirt except I got it in neon green. 
What does it mean, “Star Killer”?
I quit watching B5 before that came up, I think. About the time what’s her name transmogrified.

First frost last night. I don’t think it was a hard frost, but a frost all the same. This is my favorite time of year, when it’s dark early and it’s chilly. I’ve become such a hermit. I want to spend my evenings in my chair with the space heater blasting at my feet, reading or watching teevee. Lately I’ve been hooked on Halloween baking competitions.

I’m really sleepy today, dunno why. Could cheerfully spend the day in bed, but I had stuff I needed to get in this morning, and now I’ve realised I’m out of chocolate, so I shall have to walk to the shop.
Just been sent a letter from the legal firm acting for my (former) insurance company about the teeny bump my car had back in April. The silly woman who hit me- from the back, while I was stationary- is denying all involvement in it, after stopping and giving me her details at the time. They’ve been asking me for a description of her, someone I spoke to for about 5 minutes, 5 months ago.
Appeared to be a human female, bit older than me, probably had hair and clothes on. 'Bout all I can remember. What do they expect after 5 months? :rolleyes:
Good almost afternoon y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 60 Amurrkin out and N.O.S. with a predicted high of 74 for the day and N.O.S. I woke up at six this mornin’, went to the bathroom, then went back to bed. Next thing I knew it was eleven-thirty! I musta needed that. I have to get the pot roast on in the very near future. However I feel like I could go back to bed.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then I suppose I should get the roast on and purtify.

Off to the dentist for teeth scraping and polishing…and about 2 minutes with the actual dentist doing the inspection…
Sitting drinking coffee with Miss Pepper on a leash because she cannot stop hunting the cats and then barking shrilling when she finds them. She is a silly dog, but the noise is too much for [del]morning[/del] any time of day. Last night she was chasing a moth. It was adorable.

Yay! Everybody needs to congrats me! I am officially done with the mascot, And I declare it bee— oot—ti—ful, course I am kinda partial!! Got the check in my paint covered, greedy little fingers! The school people all went up in the bleachers and looked down on it and actually applauded me. I took a bow like an opera singer, And got a big laugh! And before I left the school a coach asked about doing a mascot on their wagon that they pull behind a truck to away games. I am not sure I can do that. It takes special paint for automotive stuff. But I told him I would look into it! It is so nice to be wanted. (taking a small bow) y’all can applaud now!!

Teeth have been scraped, polished, flossed, X-rayed and inspected and all is well.
Garbage truck was just by, so need to go out and return the container to the garage for another week.

sunny, we’ve been working on indoor/outdoor voice along with nighttime outdoor barks here too. I get a kick out of Nelson barking at squirrels when it’s daylight, but on our bedtime and morning outings, he needs to be a bit quieter.
We celebrate(d) our Halloween festivities today and tomorrow at irk. There were some good costumes (I was my perenniel classic witch) and Grumpy CareBear won. There are pie baking and pumpkin decorating contests to be judged tomorrow. I got off the hook on the pumpkin thing this year with a combo of my boss being on FMLA and some [del]fresh blood[/del] new department members.
I performed surgery on Rocky Raccoon this evening and will do a little more with Sonic the hedgehog. I have a feeling that I might get good at this.

Do you know RU Seen? They have some great (& reflective) stuff. Since 4 miles is an unusual distance, you probably have a good chance of setting a PR in the race, especially with the extra motivation to get to dry clothes. Remember wet clothes rub/chafe; Body Glide can be your friend.
I’m a bit sore from tonight’s workout; I’ve got a < 4 weeks to whip myself into shape. Doable, but will take some effort.

So the truck was an hour late ,since he tipped a pallet off the lift gate of the truck at the first stop. Then he did it at my store.:smack: On the bright side, Cane swon and I’m off tomorrow.

The big item on today’s agenda is to visit Miss Becky at the nursin’ home. I shall bring her a bag of Hershey’s Kisses[sup]TM[/sup] which will earn me major points. 
We shall sup upon my version of Philly cheese steaks usin’ the left over beef from the pot roast. That and oven fries will make for some good eatin’.
