Not a lot going on today except a run to Nashville to meet a HS classmate for lunch. I may repair Sonic the hedgehog againso that there’s another squeaky toy to drive me nuts.
Howdy Y’all! Twuck has new shoes. I called OYKW just before I left to see if he was up and had eaten anything. He was up but had not et, so I told him I’d bring him his favorite sausage and chikin bizkits from MickeyD’s. I even got strawberry jelly. He is happy. I have a load of jeans and stuff in the washer. Soon as they are washed and dried, I foresee nappage.
Hi, Honeys! I’m HOME!!! We got to the house about an hour ago, we’re unpacked, and the laundry has been started. Our house sitter has gone home and Higgs is happy to have her daddy back.
Went to Don’s for breakfast and being semi-productive getting things ready for Tuesday. I’ll be at work so I wanted to get the bubble-foggers and stuff prepped and set for the OW to have if the weather cooperates.
Nappage and N.O.L. have been achieved. We had majik intartoobz pizza. The chance of rain has gone from ninety percent this mornin’ to sixty percent. :dubious:

Yay! Mom is back (hi, dammit)!! When they varnish the gym floor I am gonna try to get a good photo. There is a cat walk above the floor, I would like to get up there and have a go. I don’t think heights bother me m. We will see. I am gonna try to paint the mascot on the equipment wagon, both sides. They will have to have clear coat applied after. Lil’wrekker stayed at school this weekend. I will have to put her allowance in the bank, I forgot it today. She is mad as a wet hen cause I forgot. I told her I would drive over (2hrs) and bring her some cash. She said no that was okay, she’d make it, altho’ she would nearly have to starve and do without for a whole day in a half!!! That girl is a mess!! My older daughter is planning to come early in Nov.for a visit. She wants to do a thanksgiving preview. So I got to plan 2 thanksgiving meals. That’s ok, I like that kinda food. Son is work, work ,work, he is trying to make extra cash for Christmas trip they are planning. Built my first fire in the woodstove this morning, It is quite cool, 2 days ago I was sweating in 90°. It is so. Ark., tomarrow the weather will be changed!!
Dog jr. Is riding on the tractor with Mr. Wrekker, it is hilarious, she is very small, so she is sitting on his shoulder. Eeek, I hope she don’t fall. I got another call from the lil’wrekker, she found $40 in a pair of jeans, “So you can quit worry-ing Mother, I will be okay now”, I hate to tell her I wasn’t really worried! That girl just kills me! Chile for din-din tonite, I gotta get moving, nah!, think I will sit here some more!! Happy day,all y’all!!
The last load of laundry is in the dryer. I’m still trying to figure out how to get my diary off the tablet so I can post it. **FCD **has napped, and Ziva has yet to appear. Yep, we’re home.
Monster ache of the head. I think I am getting a sinus infection on the left side. Always the left side. I have accomplished nada except cooking a pot of chicken and rice. I must get a maid. I just cannot keep up and irk/commute. I always have big plans and wind up being a slug.

Blurf. Tis windy and raining off and on with a depression right over us. I just hope the power stays on even though we are set with 3 generators and upteen gas cans. I have no less that four cases of MRE’s. At least we are better prepared this time.
Laundry is done and I managed to get most of my trip diary moved from the tablet to the PC. I’ll do some editing and get it posted tomorrow. Too tired now.

Last nights’ rain not only cancelled today’s soccer stuff, it also lowered the days temperatures to 48F as the high. Went out an refereed anyway at another park and got two games in. Also now own a new pair of gloves and also picked up my Halloween candy (Kit Kats and M&M’s).
Butters, I’d say hang in there, but you’ve probably heard that so often…well, keep on keepin/ on. And keep beer on hand.
Heating control appears to be malfunctioning, I have it on auto and it refuses to kick on. Will switch it to on and that should produce some warmth. Call someone Monday.
**MetalMouse **- The buffet ranged from very nice to extremely meh. Several of our dinners in the dining room were nice, but some were just OK. The escargot were good, tho! The casino reeked of smoke and we never did more than walk thru it. **FCD **was going to put a few pennies in the penny slot machines, but you had to use your card rather than cash. Nope.
I’s stahvink and I don’t feel like cooking. So sad. So very sad…
I ironed the shirts I’m takin’ to the church house tomorrow. Well, some of ‘em. About half are the non-iron type. I did that and made sups (chef sallits usin’ romaine lettuce and arugula (bag sallit, don’t judge!), boiled aigs, grated sharp cheddah and Monterey pepper jack cheeses, and deli ham, chikin, turkey, and roast beast, while watchin’ The Dawgs beat up on the Flarduh lizards. Busy and fun time! Looks like we will get rain after all. YAY!
So far it is not even raining though it rained off and on a bit today. I guess we expect the worst tonight through the morning. Or maybe nothing at all. After a cat 4 a depression is just a breeze.
I found antibiotics and took one. I know the signs of a blocked sinus. If I am not much improved on Moanday it’s off to the doc for me. With all the piles of wet debris lots of people are sick with all sorts of ailments. Everything from gastrointestinal to rashes and even sinus infections. Ain’t nobody got time to be sick.

I had a nice lunch with my HS classmate. When I go up to Dad’s at Thanksgiving, we’re going to get together for drinks.
I took Nelson to the dog park, but dang, it was cold for a little dog with next to no body fat and short hair. I’m looking for some outerwear for him tomorrow. It’s supposed to get realllllly cold tonight.
