I honestly thought someone would be able to kill this puppy over the weekend. At the rate it’s growing, though, it’s gonna be twice the size of its ancestor before too long. And it’s only eight days old. Frankly, I’m flabbergasted.
So, let’s kill something today!

Missed you all. The flu bug has descended upon my home with a vengance. Yuck. But I did get some cleaning done and all the Christmas decorations put away…wha? Oh, I’m so sorry. I just thought I’d try boring the old thread to death…elbows tried that? Ah, I see. Well, at least we’ve learned that threads like slide shows.

After long and considered deliberation, i have decided that my milestone post (Ok, so it’s a tiny milestone, I’m new, i’m not up to big milestone’s yet) definitely belongs in a somewhat pointless, but very enjoyable thread where noting that it is a milestone for me is not inappropriate.

And I never actually talk when I first wake up. I make a lot of “Hmm… Uh-huh” noises and nod my head often. It takes me at least 20 minutes to “wake up”, but it can take up to several hours some days.

Silver, if you think your mornings are bad, my mom unsed towake me for school…half an hour later when she thought I was ready, I’d still be asleep. I used to tell her to make sure we actually had a conversation to prove I was awake - turns out I can talk in my sleep if it will get me an extra half hour in bed!

Ah yes, I remember school mornings. By the end of my first year in 7th grade I could shower, get dressed, and eat breakfast in under 20 minutes. Eventually I stopped eating breakfast so I could get the extra few minutes in bed.
Jeez…I was bad in school about not getting up, but I think I’m far worse now. Anything…anything for ten more minutes of good sleep in the morning.
