Time Warp MMP

So the bears mowed the lawn and their heads? Reminds me that this bear should do both this weekend as well.

More fun with the sick dog. About three days after coming off the anti-parasite meds, the horrifying squirts resumed. The guess now is that she may need to stay on a bland diet forever, which unfortunately means the Chi will also be on a bland diet. It also means their food costs are roughly quadrupling as we’re dealing with “prescription” food that’s not sold at Pet Food Express. Oh and yes, the dining room carpet is unspeakably stinky again. It’s been exiled to the garage for now.

Oh Swampy… Is this your pool?

Harley has fresh oil. Our unders are all clean and folded and ready to be put away. I’ve been crocheting yet another afghan. And the car is mostly loaded for tomorrow’s excursion.

Time to recline. MWAH!

Nah. This is my cee-mint pond.

Sorry about the sick doggy. Poor thing!

Lots of laundry awaits (ugh). Miniature emperor catered dinner.

As for the rest of my day, see my post in this month’s mini-rants.

Swampy is the cute bear.
G-d help me.
No,no, Swampy is the bear that got of work early.

:dubious:

Duplicate posts.
What is up with the hampsters?
:dubious:

Too much sugar.

There is a somewhat bright side: the little GrumpyCat stuffed toy I bought before the day got really irritating. She has an unreasonable amount of positive impact on my mood.

Of course.

Howdy!

Back from the fair. I got my poke chop on a stick. I always have to laugh; the poke chop truck is across from the pig races EVERY DANG YEAR! Are we eating the losers?

I managed to register three voters during my stint at the Dem booth, so it wasn’t all fun and games.

Awww {{{Nettie}}} People are assholes. I told one of my friends that there should be a quota on how many assholes one must deal with in a life time I was sure I met my quota years ago. She said nope, God takes delight in churning them out just to drive the rest of us crazy.
Probably the same God who saw fit to give me but two middle fingers.

Weis did a nice job with the groceries. They have really nice bags too, heavier with handles.
I fell asleep and was late getting there but they were okay with it. Sad though that $200 worth of groceries fits in one grocery cart. We’ll be good for at least two weeks.
Then I was late logging into irk.

Well that was a relaxing midweeend. Back to work tomorrow.

That’s what happens to the losers at the Greenville, MS catfish races.

{{{{Nettie}}}} Glad Grumpy Cat improved your mood.

Flytrap, not sure about the “hampsters”, but the hamsters enjoy mocking you.

We finally have some dry weather expected so I’m going riding. No wait ---- I’m not. I’m going to be a responsible adult and fix the wood on the porch that needs fixing.

And then I’m going riding. :stuck_out_tongue:

Case is packed, passport has been located…I is off on a jolly! See you in September…play nicely, don’t poke the bear, and don’t forget to use coasters where moooom can see.

Swampy, I am about to travel into your past!

I bet if you bought $200 of ramen, it’d take more than one cart. Just sayin’!

Higgs thought I needed to be up at 5. Stoopit dog. So she’s been fed, I’ve packed her food for the next 2 meals, plus some cookies, and I bagged some cantaloupe and some more ice in the cooler with the mega watermelon. All that’s left is to pack our clothes and load the last few things into the car. And shower. And dress. Details, details…

Temp dropped to 62° overnight and I woke with a cat snuggled against my legs. It’s supposed to get that cool tonight again - poor Taz will have to snuggle against Ziva if he wants body heat. I’m going to leave the windows open with the anti-open locks in place, not that I worry about anyone trying to break in. Mostly I worry about the idiot cat flinging him against a screen with enough force to break thru. Not that he’s ever tried. Anyway, no a/c in the house today till we get back tomorrow, and maybe not even then!

I’ll most likely be off-line until later Sunday. Too much going on at Mom’s to bother with surfing. So everyone try to behave while I’m away!

Yeah, right.

Happy Saturday!

One of my oldest high school friends is apparently a right wing whack-a-doodle, and I never knew! She keeps posting glurgy and political crap on FB - I’ve had to stop following her, because it’s not worth the hassle to tell her she’s out of her gourd. She’s entitled to her politics, but she’s one of those people who just posts and shares crap without checking its, what’s the word??, oh yeah, facts. Add that to the religious glurge she’s so fond of and I have to wonder what happened to the girl I dissected a frog with? (Not a euphemism - she and I met when we were made biology lab partners in 10th grade.)

Deep, calming breaths…

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 76 very hyoooooooooomid Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 95 for the day. Sounds like a good day for cee-mint pond time.

In a little while Ima go to the church house and raid the ice machine. Hoshi (the ice machine) makes copious amounts of ice. I know that I am not the only person who will do this today and that tomorrow mornin’ Hoshi will look as if no one has been there to get ice.

MOOOOOOM y’all have fun! Will Higgs get to swim? We’ll use coasters while you’re gone. Except for flytrap. He’ll set his wet glass directly on the coffee and end tables. He always does.

{{{Nettie}}} glad no one was hurt.

BooFae have a great vacation!

OK, that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I must purtify and go get ice.

Happy Saturday Y’all!
