1st: I never said I didn’t enjoy the “let’s meet IRL” threads, I simply made fun of them.
2nd: I never said I plan to stay in the pit, I said I enjoyed it. If I said I liked Disneyland, that doesn’t mean I’m locking myself up in Cinderella’s castle.

I don’t know what to make of being called obnoxious in the BBQ pit. Does that mean I’m doing something right, or doing something wrong?
Technically, the Pit is for carrying on heated debates when they get too hot for the other forums.
Of late, it gets used a lot for calling out trolls and running fuck-off contests.
Just because it’s the Pit does not mean that every post needs to be a flame, though there are a select few who are really good at it.
Being branded a troll your first time out isn’t the kiss of death or anything, it’s just easier to work your way in if you start off in one of the other forums.

quite true. and its quite boring im afraid. the pit is a place for debates where its all right to call someone stupid or daft(or similar words in that category). but just plain assault on ones being is quite another matter.
i have noticed that a few individuals have resulted to “fuck-off contests” when somebody didnt accept their logic(and some have even started the contest before they expressed(!) any logic at all). i cant imagine people can have fun making fun of other people. at least if its anything more than just a casual joke.
