Not to worry tho, because we have the likes of rboyce to keep us entertained (in this case with tales of alien probes from far nether regions, tho left unanswered is whether they would probe our nether regions given a chance).
But would we enjoy it?
He’s a bit silly sometimes, but he certainly doesn’t seem to pose these issues in order to annoy or inflame.
I haven’t kept exact count, but at least some of rboyce’s threads have devolved into very interesting and informative conversations.
The shape might be appropriate to the job but given the size of ʻOumuamua, that’s one probing that’d really, really hurt.
We shall see. The usual modus operandi of the suspected species in question is to post more and more outlandish stuff over time so as to increase nutrient intake.
That makes sense. I was arguing with both of those posters over the exact same thing within hours of each other. Enough that I even got them a bit confused for a moment.
IMO rboyce is just a not very smart/educated guy who’s curious about a lot of stuff. Too much time on his hands, and Google has leaned he likes Discovery Channel-style speculation, whether it’s ancient astronauts, or Hitler doppelgangers. He never seems chastened when we burst his bubble, but he never really argues back either. More “Aw gee, back to the drawing board!”
IOW: he’s a sucker for headlines taking the form of a question. 
Much of what rboyce posts can be found spammed in other forums. Straight up copy and pasted. For a time, I was convinced he was a bot. Honestly, I’m still not fully convinced “he” isn’t. Certainly something is not quite right.

I don’t know off hand how common it is, but there are vegans who demand are fucking stupid enough to want their pets to also be vegan. Hence the existence of vegan pet food.
As of now we’re having our own discussion in that thread with zero regard for the OP person or their silly OP words.
I’ve always wondered how they reconcile the idea of enslaving an animal to be their pet with some sort of ethical consideration for animals.
