Their disingenuousness makes me think they’re a troll no matter what side they’re actually on. Nothing suggests they’re here to do anything but attack a political side they don’t like, rather than argue any actual political point, IMHO.

Checking back, he posted a bunch in 2009-2010, then disappeared for 10 years before beginning to post again last February.
So he turns up at the beginning of Democratic administrations and then vanishes into the fog, like Brigadoofus.

I’m mystified that saytwo is still here. Nonstop his posts amount to “Tain’t so. I don’t believe you. Two plus two adds up to 17, not 4. Cite? What’s that? OK, yo demand a cite? Here’s something from a place like Infowars. Of course I have a counter suggestion or solution, but I don’t want to tell you what it is. And what about {fill in the blank}?”
I’ve just summarized 100% of his total “contributions” to SDMB, all ~900 of his mostly 1-liner posts.
He’s pretty well destroyed every QZ thread there is. I’ve got him on ignore (my only ignored poster), and all I’m reading is patient rebuttal after patient rebuttal to his nonstop BS and nay-saying.
Ban the bastard at least from from QZ for willfully spreading mostly non-information, but what little actual info there is is pure disinformation.
I had to rewrite a response to him twice to avoid a warning. It’s frustrating because his intent is clear, to post misinformation about COVID. Ignoring him means dropping out of those threads, because as you say, he destroys them. It’s frustrating.
Putting him on “ignore” has vastly improved my experience here.
As I said, I do have him on ignore.
But, as I almost said, instead of seeing his posts, what you see is his posts chopped into snips as quotes inside the folks who keep trying to debunk the relentless bastard. Yeah, the quotes are blank, but from the tit-for-tat responses you still end up knowing what garbage he’s spewing.
QZ is now the “All saytwo all the time channel”. And that’s friggin stupid.

Yep. I’ve largely given up going into any thread he’s entered; I know he’s already smothered all discourse with a blizzard of bullshit.

Nah, I think it might give you a little empathy for people who have different views from you, and make you realise that people can have good intentions and still disagree.
