He’s a pretty serious Trump supporter, which gets harder and harder to defend rationally. However, his contributions in non-political threads seemed OK.
Note in this case he asked to be banned. He wasn’t banned for cause.
That wasn’t the only factor. As mentioned in the notice, he had several warnings for being a jerk.
Right, I did see that. I guess I meant it wasn’t a total flame out – it was partial, plus the request. I know you guys don’t usually ban people who request it, but I guess he was on the edge anyway.

It’s clear to me it’s more the drawn out discussion he’s interested than anything. Whether it’s because he’s a troll, it’s some kind of fantasy he likes to dwell on, or “other” is anyone’s guess.
Mostly, though, I feel bad for people who seem to be engaging him in discussion and (wrongly, in my view) assuming he is being fully sincere/posting in good faith. He’s not.
He seems to just want to insult people who respond to him in both threads.
So, a sock with two accounts, both of which troll on the same two variants of basically one creepy topic. Why is he allowed to still be here?
