My father had weird symptoms when he was hospitalized after intestinal surgery. After a couple of days they realized he was suffering severe caffeine withdrawal. After that they have him a low dose of IV caffeine, and he got better.

There are people on this planet who make the world immeasurably worse, and whose greatest positive contribution would be to leave it. He’s an amoral monster who has never had adequate checks, and now he holds the highest office in the nation.

I woke up to the news that Trump (s) were positive on my clock radio when the alarm went off this morning. My first thought was that it must be bullshit. I assumed he was dodging the next two debates and would spin it as “See, I had it and it was nothing!” Now, strangely, I’m hoping he doesn’t actually die from it for fear Pence would get a sympathy bump in the election.
I read the article. I actually agree with the first part of it. I want Trump out of office, I want his hordes of fans to come to their senses and abandon him, I want the country to survive his influence and to come out stronger.
But I don’t want to give in to anger. Anger leads to hate; hate leads to suffering.
It is fucking sick that right now that asshole real estate con man is getting the best in the world, top of the line health care as he is currently attempting to remove health care from millions of Americans. Fuck that motherfucker. I hope he gets covid-19 HARD, I hope it lasts a long time, and he suffers a great deal. I’ll leave an upside down bible, just the way he likes to use them as props, on his grave.
