The Trumpistas are claiming a) that COVID is still a Democrat hoax, and b) that Trump is sick because the Democrats infected him with COVID.
Yeah, it doesn’t make any sense to me either.

pres. just did a drive by waving thingy.
NSA O’Brien announced that the vulgarian will remain in the hospital for a “further period of time,” without specifying anything further about the period. But he did drop that “days 7 and 8 are critical,” so, yeah, the White House isn’t going to be bringing any fresh Big Macs in for Monday.
I really don’t want him to die. It’s the least just outcome I can think of.
If he dies, it opens the door to Republicans gaming the situation even more than they already are. If he dies, he suffers none of the true punishments he so richly deserves.
I want him to live, but with some real physical consequences for having ignored what he has so carelessly and selfishly visited on others. Some lung scarring, a heart condition. Perhaps wheelchair bound.
I want him to suffer the legal consequences of a lifetime of criminal, corrupt activity. I want to let the chips fall where they may as regards tax evasion, money laundering, fraud and who knows what all else. I want his treasonous behavior with the Russians throughout his term fully exposed and known to all the world. I want him forced to spend what’s left of his fortune on defending himself in court. From jail.
I want him just well enough from now until November 3rd to run as a candidate while the Republicans chew their nails to the quick about whether to invoke the 25th and incur the wrath of their remaining supporters or to continue to ignore the immense damage done to our government. I want every one of them run out on a rail for their abdication of responsibility and accountability.
After Biden’s decisive win, I want Trump’s condition to deteriorate to the point that Pence must take over until January 20th. Or hell, let him catch COVID too and suffer his own consequences. Let Speaker Pelosi steer the ship till January 20th.
In the end, I want Trump as thoroughly defeated, broke and prosecuted as it’s possible for a person to be, abandoned by family, friends and country. I hope he dies alone in a prison.
Where’s my pony, dammit?
Wow. I predicted that the day the news broke that he was infected.
I can get behind that platform.
I’m thinking about all those people who died alone, in hospitals or at home or somewhere else, who lost or never had health insurance, who couldn’t afford treatment, or who couldn’t even afford to get tested! Or who were not “eligible” to get tested. I wish he could suffer all of those things at once. If there really is a multi-dimensional universe, maybe he can.
Though it has thrown the nation into chaos, the fact that Donald Trump has contracted the coronavirus should not be especially surprising—after all, he has been careless about measures to control the virus, and protect his own health, for months. Nor should it come as a surprise that the White House is offering partial, misleading, and contradictory information. That has been a reliable theme of the Trump presidency.
What does still shock is the recklessness with which Trump treated the health and lives of those closest to him. Despite being potentially exposed to a virus he described in February as “deadly stuff,” the president apparently took no measures to protect his political advisers, aides, and donors, and largely left them in the dark once he had tested positive.
Wrong, Atlantic. That’s not even remotely shocking. He has never indicated that he gives a rat’s ass about anyone but himself.
At every turn, it has been possible for some of Trump’s supporters to comfort themselves: Well, yes, he’s disdainful of some people who back him; I am one of the chosen few whom he truly respects . The reckless disregard the president has shown even for his closest aides and donors this week should dispel that impression. It doesn’t matter how close with the president you are—there should be no expectation that he will make any effort to protect you from a deadly disease, or that this administration will act to inform you or help you if you’ve been exposed. After this week, why would anyone believe that Trump has their best interests at heart?
Ask those suckers and losers who are gathered outside the hospital hoping to catch a glimpse of Dear Leader.
You know what I think would be nice? If they let Trump out in just another day or two, they should arrange a biiiig welcome home party for him. In some nice, enclosed room in the White House. Invite ALL the republican senators, who should show their fealty by not wearing maks and everyone of them shake his hand upon arrival and departure to really convey how much they value him.
Ten days or so later, the Senate can get back to passing all sorts of needed laws and correcting other recent ones…
(Give me that, and you keep all your ponies.)
Throw in a looooong, wet smooch from McConnell right on Trump’s mouth, and I’ll see what I can do.
W. T. F.??
The Asshole-in-Chief is putting his driver at risk for a goddamned photo op!
The President that raw-dogged a porn star (at least one), and has been raw-dogging the nation since the pandemic began … now has his acolytes repeatedly telling us that he “took every possible measure and still got sick.”
I did everything I could possibly have done (except wear a condom), and she still got pregnant.
Masks. For him and everybody around him. Period. No exceptions.
Duh.
30% of America is still buying this shit. At some point, they’re simply wearing their stupidity as a badge of honor.
#Murica !
The steroids eventually wear off. I can’t wait.
Can we get them to wear Trump’s stolen coat of arms instead?

Bricks and mortar, stat!!!
“William”. How formal.
And nobody even cleared the throngs out of the way with tear gas and flash-bangs! Some folks just get all the preferential treatment.
Dear brave Secret Service agent:
If someone points a gun at Donald Trump - duck.
He’d do the same for you.
I’ve read something or other that the Secret Service is vulnerable in the sense that they are so specialized and specifically trained that they don’t have a real deep bench.
That is what “to the pain” means.
