UKDopeFest

Ooh simul-post…

Did it feel good for you too?

I’ll agree with you there. They’re a beautiful blend of spice and flavour. And I’ll stop now, cause I’m making myself hungry.

I’m not much for chilies, but if there’s enough garlic in it to stun a water buffalo I’m all for it.

Mmmmm…Chicken Tikka Garlic…

You haven’t lived until you’ve had my butternutsquash-and-courgette dhansak…
Shame my house is so far away from most of y’all.

Just to save me wading through all these postings, and of course because I’m unashamedly idle, do we have a where and when for the Big Event - just in case I’m free that day?

Well, would ya look at that, I appear to have managed to book myself some train tickets… 11am outta London Euston, arriving 12:59 Brimingham New Street.

Squeeeee!!!
Thank you so very much to Sir Doris, Ianzin and Francesca! I shall be buying much much pints for you all at the next meetup, after I have beaten up stoopid clients.

I will not be wearing my butch waistcoat…(unless there is great demand for it?) however I shall be drinking lots of Guinness and smiling my sharp pointy teeth smile.

Ianzin, kferr wanna take bets on what colour my hair will be?

Lime Chutney here I come!

Heeee!!!

Excited!!!

1400 onwards at The Old Joint Stock pub. Directions on page 4

Oh, Kferr, I just saw your post about the London Beer Fest in August.

Sounds good to me!

Hurrah for Tir!

Do those staying in the Campanile and arriving lunchtime-ish want to do a preliminary meet and go check in before the main event?

There’s a bar at the station (travel side - the ticket collectors are pretty strict).

Yes, but if you take anyone to that bar, I can guarantee they will get the wrong impression of Brum. That bar is nasty.

I reckon that would be a cunning plan… would be good to meet up first.

All bars in train stations and most bars in airports are nasty, it’s the law.

WOOOO HOOOO it’s Tir!

We’ll just have to counter it by taking the scenic route around Brum. I just hope it’s a sunny day and we manage to avoid the football fans.

Hmmm… canalside pubs…

Tir - I’m afraid you can’t go on that train because thats my train and i booked it first. You’ll have to get the one after.

and Brainfizz after speaking to a very nice woman with a gorgeous accent i’ve now got a twin room rather than a double.

Garius… :stuck_out_tongue:

actually, knowing Virgin Trains we’ll be bloody lucky if either of us gets it.

true… however should they mess us around after all this, I shall be having really rather stern words with whoever is responsible over a messy pile of his or her steaming intestines…

thankyouverymuchindeed.

fantastic - i’m terrible at complaining.

i’d stand behind you, arms crossed looking stern and nodding vigorously
