I made Chex mix last night, so that’s been my only source of sustenance since. Other than the odor of my flatulence, I have no regrets.
Take out Chinese
Ceviche. Sauvignon Blanc.
I made chicken tenders simmered in a creamy lemon mushroom sauce, served over smashed taters, with a side of buttered broccoli. The night before I made vegetable beef soup, so we’re having leftovers tonight. It’s just the two of us, and I always seem to cook for an army!
Chicken bites marinated in fajita seasoning, roasted green beans and clementines.
Godawful Waffles. I had some waffle mix left in a gift package. It was bland the last time I tried it. Turns out all the seasonings had gone to the bottom of the package. So, I had corn and jalapeño waffles with a diced banana added.
My gf was at agility class with Kizzy. When she got home she commented on how horrible the kitchen smelled.
They were filling, and our parrot Rocco enjoyed his share.
Well Argentina won, my Brother in law is returning the car he borrowed , bringing his wife and again curry and probably more Quilmes beer to celebrate.
I am not complaining on repeat curry at all.
I’m having what may sound like an odd “dinner” to y’all but is a decadent treat for me:
- Thai chili wings (all flats!) from the best local joint in town
- pseudo caviar (this vegan “Caviart” stuff made of seaweed) because I really wanted some but couldn’t get (or afford) the real stuff. But this sorta scratches the itch a bit, for way cheaper.
Funfucky Fried Chichein, as my 4 year old nephew called it.
Roast beef sandwich with garlic mayo, green peppers, and sautéed onions, toasted on a baguette and served with au jus. I ate half of it for dinner, and I may or may not devour the rest before I hit the sack.
Breakfast for dinner: eggs, bacon, biscuits and hash browns.
Our friend Billu had Chicken Saag as his special. It was new to his menu and he recommended it. It was delicious!
Breakfast for dinner here too: waffles, eggs, bacon and watermelon.
Butter chicken, samosas, rice, roasted vegetables (parsnips, rutabagas, yams). Lindor truffle and a Malbec for dessert.
Chinese takeout last night with a guest – pork lo mein, Singapore noodles, Chinese-style chicken wings, pork+chicken+shrimp fried rice. Tonight: leftovers as a late-night buffet. Lots of leftovers due to the large portions they dish out.
Home made cheeseburgers with french fries.
Leftover pepperoni pizza, half a leftover calzone and a small tossed salad, with a glass of ice water. Later, half a Rice Krispie treat covered in dark chocolate.
Shredded some grilled chicken and combined it with cheesy noodles. Iced vodka to drink.
2 multigrain toaster waffles with ghee and maple syrup. I seem to be on the hind end of a cold, and toaster waffles seemed like the tastiest item when I played "What Looks Like Dinner?"at the Co-op.
Ham, corn, and pommes de terre dauphinois. Merlot as a chaser.
ETA: plus mustard on the ham, of course.
