Took some pictures of my house and posted them on Facebook (PM if you’re not already a friend there) showing all the improvements in the last 15 months or so. Next mission is indoor remodeling, as soon as I hit the lottery or something…
I’m home, with turkey. Tina lied about snacks. There was a truck full of frozen birds and the company founder was there handing them out. I shook his hand and thanked him, chatted briefly with a couple of people who knew me but who I don’t remember, then I came home.
**FCD **is napping. Dunno what I’ll do for supper, but I can forage. And the bird is in a big bowl of water - I hope it will thaw by Saturday… According to a chart I saw, it should take 8-10 hours, so I think I’m good. I’ll stick it in the fridge tonight and finish it in the water tomorrow.
syesh if I remember its something like an hour in a half for every pound or two …
although plant and spider yall need to behave before fcm goes all mom on us and puts yall in separate corners with nose to the wall …
I just ignore **Spidey **and **Flytrap **- tho timeout is a viable option.

I’m making lists this evening of (minimal) groceries to buy tomorrow, packing for the trip up north, grocery lists for when I get there and finishing up a birthday card for one of my cow-orkers for the day that I return to irk. Bizzy bizzy.
We went to not too terrible Chinese place for supper. I’ve got enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow. But for now, I’m putting together afghan squares. Good times.

Woke a bit before 4. Couldn’t fall back to sleep, dammit. So for almost 2 hours, I played stupid games on my tablet while **FCD **snored away next to me. He’s gone into work for a few hours and I’m breakfasting and surfing before chore time. I need to empty and refill the dishwasher, then rake/sweep off the deck and de-leaf the gardens. We’re going to mulch/vac the yard today.
Fun.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 38 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 72 and N.O.S. for the day. I shall be a bear who N.O.L.s today. Meetin’ a couple of friends for N.O.L. at Olive Garden. Soup and sallit it shall be. Majik Intartoobz Pizza shall be supped upon this evenin’. Also I shall go see Miss Becky at the nursin’ home after N.O.L. That should be enough to keep me outta trouble.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. At some point I suppose purtification must occur.

Blurf. I have a Dr appt in Homestead, Fl. Hubs is going with though I don’t know why. Except he wants to look at vehicles. He still needs to buy a van since the storm totaled his. I am not looking forward to this appt. Tis always awkward with a new Dr. I must get to the bottom of the persistent sinus infections though. So new Dr it is.
