Howdy All!! This is my first day off in 2 weeks. It was so nice to sleep in this morning. The house call Veterinarian just left. Lucky Louie had get the old anal glands expressed.
On Tuesday it’s off to the big city of Miami for hubby’s cardiac ablation. Hopefully it will cure the AFib.
It’s 70 degrees here today. I think it will be a lazy day. Happy Easter All.
Cook bacon and set aside in layers of paper towels to drain. *Lightly *toast bread for sandwiches. Place 2 strips of bacon between 2 slices of American cheese and grill cheese sandwiches normally.
The toasting prevents the bread from soaking up excess butter. The double layer of cheese melts all around the bacon locking it inside the bread. Also great cold later.

Back from the Harley place after seeing **FCD **take off with the riders. It was picture-with-the-Easter-Bunny day - **FCD **got his pic with the Easter Bunny and Higgs. So he’s off riding, Higgs is in the back yard, probably looking for something disgusting to eat, and I’m trying to decide whether to be productive or not.
I want ice cream.

Got a busy day of cleaning, dyeing eggs, and then going out with friends tonight. Tomorrow the family all getting together at the grandparent’s house for some limb of young sheep (that Mrs Rio will not eat so we’ll have to go out to eat afterwards)
The weather is looking very springy so it should be a good weekend. Happy Saturday :)
Feeling kind of down. My friend is in town and is having a party tonight, but I don’t know where the party will be. I have to leave for downtown soon, and I think I’ll only be able to check the Internet once while downtown. I don’t have my friend’s phone number. So I don’t know where the party will be, and I really don’t want to miss it.

Yahds are all purtified, shower has been had, N.O.L. consumed, hairs on both haids (OYKW’s and mine) have been cut and N.O.T. sallit has been made. No flies on da bear! 
‘Tis 73 Amurrkin out and be-yoooooo-ti-ful! However, da bear is tahrd and will soon join OYKW for some quality nappage. Oh and steaks for dindin are marinatin’. Nappage is well deserved.

Long night with the hippies last night, got home about 3:30. I haven’t done anything but eat breakfast.
Spring has sprung, it is shorts time with apologies to all who are still cold, just remember I live in an oven. It will be 100f/37c plus shortly. Also we are officially in drought conditions.

I got my Easter candy today–a Reese’s egg and a small pouch of Cadbury chocolate eggs. I will not open them until tomorrow.
Now I commence cleaning–after putting the second bookshelf together the right way this time.

Nappage and dindin have occurred. Steak and N.O.T. sallit cause I made extra for tonight’s dindin. Ham is also all prepped for bakin’ tomorrow mornin’.
I have decided I will go to the Vigil of Easter this evenin’. My tahrd and sore body says no but I will anyways. Little Julian (who et my finger Wednesday night) is bein’ baptized and I want to see that. Plus, champagne at the Eucharist!

Semi family drama sorta kinda happenin’. My youngest niece (she’s almost 22) eloped yesterday. She’s been seein’ this guy who is stationed at Ft. Benning, GA for about a year now. They went down to Columbus (home of Ft. Benning) and got married by a judge yesterday afternoon. I had suspected this already from an earlier conversation with sis (niece’s mom) who told me that Katie had some big news to tell me and would be callin’. Sho’ ‘nuff! My mother does not know yet because Katie wants to tell her. I’m sure she’ll be fine with it once she gets over the initial "I wanted to be at your weddin’" hurt. Sis and BIL are fine with it. Katie’s other grandmother was quite upset but is now ok so Katie tells me. I’m happy because she’s happy. That is what matters. I’ve probably mentioned this before but she’s my favorite. One should not have a favorite amongst ones nieces and nephews, I know, but she’s sis’s only child and bein’ as my sister and I are super close and Katie bein’ the youngest, well, I can’t help it. They’re plannin’ on havin’ a little get together in a few weeks to celebrate. Da bear will be there!
