Where the heck’s the new MMP??

I ate too much for lunch, sweet and sour chiken and flied lice from the local chinese place, but it was super yummy. I has 2 conference calls coming up and the office is feeling rather warm today. I may be in trouble…

gotti that just stinks! Here’s hopin’ DH is gettin’ relief with the higher dosage or that he’s gettin’ the pain meds he needs.

So I take it Lucky would not like for us to sing her a lullaby?

Feel better Jim!

N.O.L. of beef veggie soup and steamed cabbage has been consumed. 'Twas tasty.

I trust you’re gettin’ that homework done StickyBuns. If you’re readin’ this, march right back in there right now and get busy!

I live to inspire.

Echoing this. I have a pain management doctor for my broken foot 2 years ago. It took me awhile to get over being treated like a criminal until they got to know me. I still get randomly drug tested.

Pain sucks. I think the rules makers, like many other critics of other issues, would change their tune if they had to limp a mile in my shoes.

Abusers and criminals? Treatment and punishment, respectively.

Oops gotta test gotta go

Chili for dinner last night and then chili for lunch today. Life is gud.

Back from erranding. We got the papers signed and witnessed and they’re on the way to our credit union in FL. We’ve been members for 30 years, we want to transfer money from one account to an IRA - and they said we had to be there in person to do it. Seriously?? Here’s hoping the paperwork will satisfy them.

I found some fabric I like for the kitchen curtains. I also bought curtain rods because I remember that we didn’t have any. And I got the fish food **FCD **asked me to pick up - after he reminded me, of course. Plus I stopped for lunch, then got some Klondike bars that were on sale. All in all, it’s been a good day so far.

It’s milder than yesterday, but the morning sun is giving way to overcast. Stoopit weather.

Sah-kid is up so we will be off to the store soon.
He broke his headphones, that is an emergency!!!
Have to get new headphones.

Today is laundry day and pizza day.
I had priogies for brunch, it will be a sub for lunch/dinner.

Unknown to Sah-kid, today is also going to be driving lesson day.
No snow, the sun is shining and it’s 13 degrees above freezing.

Well, good for us cause we don’t have to smell the after effects.

Funny how just a few miles makes a difference in the weather.
The sun is shining here.
There’s still snow on the ground.

I don’t even have the energy to take a shower today. I am so gross :frowning:

I have gotten TONS of stuff done so far. I just needed a little break before I jump back in again. Seriously so proud of myself.

Get back to work young lady!

Everyone’s a Hall Monitor.

Very good and you should be proud.
Homework sucks snot through a straw.

Locking myself out of the house does too.
We had to borrow ladder from the neighbor and break into my bedroom window to grab the keys.
If I didn’t keep my window unlocked we’d been sitting outside until somebody else got here.

Shopping done, although it was just a mini shop.
Laundry in dryer, the kid is finishing it up for me.

First driving lesson over, very short.
All I wanted for the first lesson was for him to get familiar with braking and steering.

I don’t know what I’ve done here, but I’ve killed my post twice. Dammit.

Summary: worked in my studio. If I’m off again tomorrow, I should be able to finish the last untrimmed pieces, then fire next week, and I can get the stuff I’m making to the store in time for Mother’s Day. Yay.

It’s overcast and chilly - after such a pretty morning… bummer.

Mac-n-cheese for supper with some kind of side.

Higgs is driving me crazy. Such is my day in FairyChatEstates.

how about a side of roast chicken?

Very good stuff! I loved learning to drive many, many years ago. My mom remembers fondly getting in the cr with her and her mom on the Eastern Shore near Cambridge and go for long drives. The only rule was if either said “Stop!” I was to find the closest safe place to pull over so they could go investigate anything that caught their eye.

Mom does genealogy so she wanted to look at old homes and graveyards. Grandma Van Riper liked plants and birds, and kept a pretty good camera at hand for her finds.
I am happy to see your son learning, by hook or crook. Too many young people have no interest in learning to drive. I cannot comprehend.

Sounds like MOOOOOOM might be considerin’ fricassee of Higgs.

Home from irk. YAY!!! Jambalay, green sallit and garlic bread for dindin. YUM!!! Plus easy to make.

I’m going to take a slightly different blame tactic here: because of the idiot doctors who keep renewing prescriptions for highly addictive drugs without checking on how the patients are doing.

Got my taxes dropped off today. Someone else will get the migraine and not me this year!

Still snowing. But I got a rose at work today! It’s orange.

2gig, be well. Your are my breakfast sibling.* The household is on a low carb diet and every meal is supposed to be: protein-veg-veg-veg-beans. So I mostly eat leftovers for breakfast.

Hugs and stickiness to everyone who needs either or both. Made all my lunches for the week, then left the house without one this morning. So I went back home and ate it there. Got some photo labeling done on the computer while I ate. Also downloaded the next installment of The Human Division. The downloads are available from Audible every Tuesday, which is a nice thing to do to Tuesdays.

Listened to a little during lunch, but ran out of lunchtime to listen in. Will enjoy it tonight. Even at $0.69 for the member discounted price, it’s probably going to cost more than way then downloading a book would. But it’s only a week until the next installment!

*I’m late for the breakfast thing, but I have an excuse. Yesterday was a furlough day and as long as I was not being paid for being off work, I decided I wasn’t keeping up with anything else, either. Not that I didn’t DO anything, I just didn’t do anything ongoing. If that makes sense. If I did something, it had to be something that had been hanging around for awhile, that could be put off indefinitely, and that was bugging me in some fashion.

Howdy Yeller

Howdy all

Napped a bit, ate a bit, did my good deed for the day. Feeling better, hope Apes&Aplet and tugig are doing better as well.

A friend is coming over and bringing whiskey of the Irish type. The captain will sleep well tonight and wake up to payday aka humping day. This will be a good thing methinks. :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s all for now
