Where the heck’s the new MMP??

Barring something unusual, I will be off for the rest of the week. I need to get a roll of kraft paper so I can try a new clay technique. And I need to knit and crochet some textured pieces to use with my clay.

Interesting things will be coming out of my kiln.

And for now, the recliner beckons!

Dindin is et and kitchen is cleaned. I even rotissed (is to a word!) two chikins to take to the church house for Holy Week Agape Supper tomorrow night. Go Me! We’re supposed to bring “first century type foods.” I’m reasonably sure that first century Christians had chikins. If not, then I’m almost certain that first century south Jawjans had chikins, so it sorta counts.

Well that was an interesting 24 hours. I’m home now, looking forward to some rest then off to see my kids tomorrow.

In 2008 I shattered my left femur. In the ensuing chaos that followed it was discovered I have a disease called sarcoidosis.

Since it wasn’t actually affecting me at the time, and was told to me as “good news, those enlarged lymph nodes are not cancer, they have sarcoidosis” I was under the general impression it was a relatively benign disease.

About two months ago I noticed I was developing a shortness of breath, which slowly increased. I, like many others would, hoped it would just go away. By last week however I was genuinely concerned I was about to be told I had a bad problem. Finally yesterday a phone call and off to the ER I went.

The hospital treated me very well (5th overnight hospital stay in 5 years) and I was bombarded with tests. They were concerned I had developed a pulmonary embolism, or better known as a blood clot in the lung.

I was also given extensive cardiac tests including the treadmill stress test. I got through all well. In the end it appears I have had a ‘flare up’ of sarcoidosis which has made breathing difficult. As little is known about the disease, also little is known about a cure. What is known is that the vast majority of cases the disease falls into remission on their own.

So thanks for all the concern and well wishes! Once again my policy of ‘ignore it, it will go away’ has been substantiated…

gigity glad it was not anything more serious. Also, yay for bein’ home!

I am currently watching little Celeste move across my stomach. When she kicks I gently poke her back. LOL

Wow, {{{2gig}}}, good news, I guess?

I know he’s scared.
It’s why I’m taking it slow.
I told him when he is comfortable with the brakes and steering then we will move on to the next step. I’ve assured him that it will become automatic and soon he won’t even think about it.

Rock 'Em Sock’Em Robots baby style, woo hoo

Jim

Yeah, when you first learn to drive, you’re worried about the steering and braking- afte a while you realise the hard bit is dealing with all the other lunatics that you previously thought could drive

Anyway, bed time. Hopefully I won’t get unduly woken by mad neighbours tonight!

Thank you!

I got lots done today. I did most of my homework and the only thing left really isn’t due for something like two weeks. I also mailed out almost all of my show applications and worked on consolidating my business stuff and getting ready to close my catering business this summer. Yay!

Glad you’re home again, 2gig!

So long as that li’l haid of hers doesn’t go any lower…

Oh, junk, I didn’t think about that!Maybe I will just tickle her feet and not poke them

We are trying to determine how cat prints got on the ceiling.

Rosie?

Anyone?

hahaha, no idea? LOL. Spider cat hybrids?

Things are looking promising on the whole mortgage approval thing but I don’t want to jinx it.

Stay sticky babyapes!

And WTF cat prints on the ceiling? I …just well…huh?

Mexican jumping cats.

Survived Tuesday - now looking to hump Wednesday.

That is all.

Nighty-night everybody.

And best wishes and thoughts to all, of course…

someone startle the cat recently? =^.^=

I dunno…this sitting bolt upright thing, starring off into the distance…some folks say they are seeing ghosts.
I think it is interior decorating.

“Good gad, man! You painted the kitchen beige? The appliances are arctic white!”

I’m not sure whether that’s impressive, scary, or both.
