Yep - I loved them when they came out and loved being able to do them again.
WOW! I played “Ancient Art of War at Sea” on the computer when I was in elementary school! “The Duke of Medina Sidonia fights in close, where his cannons are effective.” That, and some castle building game called “Castle” are what nurished my love for RTS games.
I’ll add “Outlaws” for the plotline and soundtrack. I would love to have a gameplay update. Keep the soundtrack though.
Not so much a remake as an upgrade: XOR’s NFL Challenge®. I like the game as it is but for its time management (which makes Andy Reid look like a time management guru) and it’s patterns of substitution. Other than that I LOVE that old N.F.L. simulation!
El-Fish. A virtual fish tank with, it seemed to me, an accurate use of genetics.
ETA: Modern computers wouldn’t choke on the ‘breeding’ and animations the way an old 386 would.
I would like to see a remake of Planescape: Torment. I think it’s the best of the old school D&D games.
Earl Weaver Baseball. Yep, that was how I spent then end of my teenage years.
Heck, I’d pay for just about any updated game I played on my Amiga back in the day.
Planescape as something like Skyrim would be great.
