Will This Be The MMP?

I am sorry, **wiki. ** :frowning: Hugs to you. I hope your family can eventually find some peace.

{{{{{{{Wiki}}}}}}}, keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers; unexpected and premature. :frowning:

I have gotten caught up in the “Game of Thrones” books, which is a bit of a head scratcher for me since I do not usually enjoy fantasy books. I guess the show on HBO got me hooked, especially the acting of Peter Dinklage (he plays Tyrion). I am currently working my way through both “Feast of Crows” and “Dance with Dragons,” believe it or not. I do have a question for anyone who might know: is George R. R. Martin going to do more books - or is Dance with Dragons the end of the saga? I have this funny feeling that I’m going to get to the end of it, and it won’t be the end! LOL

All you folks making jams are making me want some, btw! I guess I’ll have to console myself with the Smucker’s lowered sugar strawberry jam. Anyone making jam or jelly with the no-calorie sweetener, btw? I haven’t liked any of the sugar-free store bought versions I’ve tried, but the Smuckers lowered sugar one does taste good to me.

Rosie’s .sig to any and all in need. The weekend is almost here.

{{{{{{{Wiki}}}}}}} I am so sorry for your loss

{{{{{wiki}}}}} - so sorry, sweetie. :frowning:

I fear a similar call one day. My youngest sister drinks too much and smokes and generally doesn’t take care of herself. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if she died long before I do. Kids…

**tarra **- if you’re so inclined, the Sure-Jell in the pink box has a recipe for cooked jams using splenda or cooked and freezer jam recipes using less sugar (and more fruit) than conventional recipes. I’ve never made it with splenda, but I’ve made both strawberry and peach with the low-sugar recipes, and I think they taste better.

I’ve never done the freezer jam, since I’m tight on freezer space, but a friend of mine swears by it - you put the measured fruit in a bowl. Then you mix sugar, pectin, and water in a saucepan, boil it, then take it off the heat and dump in the fruit, mix, and put into tupperware containers, let it sit for 24 hours, then pop it into the freezer. It keeps for a year. So if you have the freezer space, it’s an easy alternative. Just sayin’…

I just finished making another batch of peach, and I still had 4 peaches left over, so I sliced 'em and froze 'em for cobbler one day. The dishwasher is running, and in a little while, when the back yard is in shade, I’m going to take down the laundry. I fold it as I take it off the line and put it into separate baskets so all I have to do is carry it to the bedroom. I have some stuff on hangars, so that means an additional trip - yes, it’s so difficult to be me.

(((moorland)))

I feel like I’m staying in the Poison I’ve Itch hotel; new sheets & towels every day to keep it from spreading - 'cept there’s no maid or laundry service (udder dan me) to wash, dry, fold & put away the mountain. I actually saw the bottom of the hamper last night, but it’s again filled up as of this morning. sigh

Well, if you weren’t so hoity-toity & would drink your beer from a can/bottle like the rest of us, ya wouldn’t have this problem. :stuck_out_tongue:

No, FairyChat, no! We are your friends, and we can talk you out of this!

(((wiki))) Your brother, your family and of course you are in my thoughts and prayers. I lost my younger brother ten years ago and still can’t believe he’s gone. He was (is) my sister’s twin brother so it’s been especially hard for her.

Howdy Y’all! I’s home! Cheesesteaks and fries for dindin tonight. YUM!!! Gonna go throw a flank steak on the grill in a few. I lurves me a cheesesteak.

Laterz!

Chill, **flytrap **- I’m not making splenda jam. I use sugar - just not as much as some recipes.

Time to take the clothes off the line. I think I may be hearing thunder…

We’re all very glad you came to your senses, FairyChat!
remember, we are here for you.

Buuullllshiiiiiit! I’ll take it, Moooooooom!

ETA: I have home Intartoobz!

Laundry is folded, in, and ready to be put away… when I get it gear, that is. Gotta run the vacuum too - but that will take all of 10 minutes or so. I’m thinking supper will be a coupla 'mater sammiches.

My sweetie will be home around lunchtime tomorrow - yay! Then he has to go back to PA again on Monday - boooo! I may go with him on one of his trips, just for the heck of it. We shall see…

House hunting? :stuck_out_tongue:

Bite me, BBBobbio! :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Cheesesteaks, fries and water melon. YUM!!! Happy, full bear. I think I hear thunder too. Come on tboomer!

Play nicely, children, or when FairyChatMom gets home…

Oh.

NM, carry on.

Hey! I’m only a 90 minute commute from the NJ/PA border! Wanna buy a house?

OOooh! You gonna tell “sweetie” about that kinkiness?

I bathed the dog and watered the infant grass.

I can barely contain my excitement.

Gave myself a headache working on my constructed language. Par for the course.

{{{wiki}}} I’m so sorry for your loss. The invisible internet people care about you so it’s right to look for their support, too.

I’m posting from vacationland. My Sweet Avenger is already asleep lying next to me. I think it’s about time for me to turn in, too.

Tomorrow we venture forth to Gettysburg. Yay!
