Hiyas!!! Finally have a chance to check in and post. I’ve been helping **FCD **finish up his workstation project. He got stuck yesterday because his brain was wrapped around an unyielding paradigm. When he told me what his problem was, I had an immediate solution, and he was all :smack: because the answer was so obvious but he just didn’t see it. He’s a really good designer, but he tends to zero in on an idea and he doesn’t consider alternatives. I approach designing by considering many possible options, then I pick them all apart till I determine the best answer. In many ways, engineering is an inexact process…
Anyway, we were playing with plywood today. I was using the drill press, the chop saw, the bandsaw, and the belt sander while he played with the table saw, several drills, the jigsaw, and now various electrical tools. The workstation design is quite good - we had to stand it up outside because it’s too tall for our basement. Then we disassembled it and loaded the pieces into the truck. He’ll have flunkies in Johnstown to help unload the parts and assemble the workstation, so that’s good.
While we were working in the garage, **tugig **called, but we didn’t hear the phone, so an hour later I got the message. Drat! I thought he was planning on Monday. Even if I’d gotten the call, there was no way I could have met him today. Bummer. 
It’s about time to plan supper. I don’t feel like cooking and I don’t have any leftovers. We’ll see what my sweetie wants when he’s done messing with the lights for the workstation.
Who’s got tomorrow?? Surely someone who’s never started us off before wants to have a go at coming up with a topic that we’ll ignore after the 3rd or 4th post…

We let Red Robin make supper. We had to make an emergency dash to Lowe’s before they closed because **FCD **had a brain fart and mis-measured some electrical wire. But after a quick meal, he came home and finished and all is well. I brought in the jeans I washed for him for his trip, then watered my 'maters, and showered my stinky, dirty self. Isn’t it amazing how a bit of cleanliness can make you feel better? I’m still exhausted, but I’m clean and not stinky! Yay!!
**flytrap **- if you do decide to get us started, make sure MMP is the last thing in your thread subject or many Mumpers will be very confused. In fact, apart from the requirement to send me chocolate love offerings frequently and spontaneously, having MMP at the end of our thread titles is about the only hard and fast rule. That, and using coasters… And some folks start the MMP on Sunday night before they go to bed. Just sayin’…
And on that note, I think I’ll go veg the evening away in front of the TV. I worked hard today and I deserve it!
So? I have 2 coffee mugs, a Canes dog, and the Fairychatmonster. MMMMoooomm! loves me better. :p;)
