if a kind person will tell this Omega Geek HOW to post pixplz, I will show you the Kittens!
They are on the Book of Faces, but I know some folks won’t go there
(my FaceBook name is Hyla Regilla)

The way to show us pix is to make an online album (photobucket, flickr, facebook, wherever) and copy the url of the pic you want to show. Then come here, click on the little globe-chainlink icon and paste the url. Then hit enter, and you’ll then have an opportunity to replace the now highlighted text with a description of the pic. then hit post quick reply, et voilá

Home, exhausted. Traffic going up to Mom’s sucked big time! Normally the trip takes just a tad over 2 hours. Today, it took a tad over 3 hours. There was a slowdown for no apparent reason on the BW Parkway, another due to construction on the approach to the Harbor Tunnel, and the worst was a 4 mile stretch of I-95 from White Marsh north - when we got to where the backup broke free, there was nothing! No blood, no crunched metal, no craters, no smoking holes - nothing!

But it was nice visiting, even tho it rained the whole time. The food was good, and I came home with a pile of afghan pattern books and 2 big bags of yarn, as well as some leftovers for my poor starving sweetie. And the ride home was the usual 2-plus-a-little-hours, so that was nice.

**FCD **worked on his prototype workstation all day, and he was stuck for the final step. I made what I thought was an obvious suggestion and he declared it was sheer genius. OK, he didn’t exactly say that, but we’ve been married long enough that I know that’s what he meant. So tomorrow, we’re going to build my idea into his workstation. We also need to figure out if we can fit the units into the truck so he can haul it all to Johnstown on Monday.

Meanwhile, I’s exhausted. I’m thinking it’ll be a melatonin night…

Is that Yiddish?

. . . yes. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll do it, if i can alphabetize your spices, and you buy the beer.

Hey!
I thought you were going to walk dogs for a dollar two fiddy!

That, too.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. 'Tis 76 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 96 and all kinds of hyoooooomid.

We have been invitated to N.O.L. today. MOG is havin’ boyfriend problems and we’ve been all “poor baby, he does not deserve you, it’s his loss, here, have a martini” so she’s takin’ us to the good seafood place after deheathenization because we’re her two bestest friends in the world.

Speakin’ of deheathenization I get to ush today. I get to count people and money. YAY!!!

Ok, I need more caffiene and should consider brekkie. Also, purtification for deheathenization must commence at some point.

I dunno. It’s just what my accountant says should be my goin’ rate. Then again, his “office” is a van parked in the maul parkin’ lot so that might not be the best advice…

Happy Sunday Y’all!

I’m up and caffeinated, but no irk today. I’m doing laundry, and going to see some wheelchair hockey at the arena. Happy Sunday!

I believe it’s called Live! the new casino. It really destroys the area traffic.

May be making our run across the bay today - the forecast looks good. Will keep you informed.

Wow. I didn’t know wheelchairs could be trained to do sports!

Happy Sunday!

I am up have purtified and got the sheets from our bed and the spare bed in the washer. I am going to eat my lovely oatmeal then hit Tar-jay and the grocery and also get coffee. Lots of coffee.

Remake the beds then make lasagne and slice up a watermelon I purchased form the farmers market yesterday. All of this can be completed in the AC. Lovely AC.

Good morning. I was up most of the night because we were at some friends’ house. We had a good time, though. We got up at 5:30 and came home. The dogs are well tuckered out. They love playing over there because our friends have such a big yard and there’s so much to explore. Polar doesn’t sleep well over there, though. I could hear him on patrol all night long.

We’ve got another marine layer with rain probably arriving this afternoon. I wish summer would get here, but they say our long range forecast into August shows much of the same weather. Some weather pattern over the midwest is kind of holding ours in check so it can’t blow through like it normally does.

I’m about to get my second cup of coffee. I need it! My daughter and her sweetie will be coming down today, so I’ve got to get my butt in gear and take care of some household chores and shower.

Gotta train 'em when they’re little roller skates.

Mosquitoes for breakfast.
I saw one of the tiny Pulcher babies go after a mosquito larvae almost as large as he was.
If these guys were a foot long, I wouldn’t go swimming.

Back from Tar-Jay and the grocery store. My Tar-Jay list was 2 items long - Comet cleaning stuff and a new bathmat for the hall bathroom so can you please tell me how I spent $147?

Got lots of yummy things at the grocery store and here in a minute I will get the lasagne sauce started and the noddles cooked. There was a woman behind me in the check out line asked me when I was unloading my cart if she could come over for dinner as it looked like I was making something yummy. I had lasagne fixins and big portobello mushrooms that I will make up caramelised onions and spinach stuffing for to go with steaks tomorrow, huge yellow squash and gruyere cheese to make squash casserole up that will go with blackened tilapia later this week and loads of fresh fruit and other veggies etc. We eat good in the ems house.

Okay, I’m curious about the yellow squash, gruyere cheese recipe. Please to be sharing.

My list for Costco on Friday was exactly two items long too; I went in there to buy two bed pillows. I walked out $238 later. :smack:

I’ve got my kitchen squared away and I should hop in the shower because I’m sure my daughter and her sweetie will be here some time in the next hour or two.

Spinach stuffing for the lasagna?
