Yes, I’m aware that some of the conservatives on the board are disdainful of Mr. Trump. A couple of them especially are people I have a lot of respect for. I’m also proud of the fact that we’re independent thinkers who don’t feel compelled to follow the party line no matter what, and therefore we sometimes find ourselves at odds with one another.
It’s my hope and my belief that as time goes by and Trump’s positions become more nuanced and specific, and as time allows for people to learn what he’s really like and how to separate the wheat from the chaff in the way he expresses himself, they may come to change their minds about him. If not, then I plead de gustibus.
