Over the years that I have been here, I have learned that even if not immediately apparent…there is always a good reason for bannings.

I can tell you few things about bannings and other board policy;

The part about never deleting or editing post… bullshit. I’ve had entire post deleted moments after post. Good chance this one goes lickity split.

Warnings??? Been banned from here three times and have never recieved a warning, much less an e-mail.

Wanna see how censored your board is? Pick an unpopular topic, take a well thought out angle and back it up with perfect logic… poof… you’re banned.

Format your HD, install new DOS, get new IP address and come on in and see how intolerant an otherwise educated group of people can be.

Yeah, I got my problems. So does everyone. So does the board. If you are going to have a board like this you could at least stick to your own rules. Last go round here I was sure to talk with lots of people here about specifics of what was and was not acceptable. I stuck to them. The bottom line is that if you take the wrong people to task here and begin to make them look the least bit fallable, you are outta here. The same old guys are so quick to pick apart the newbies but let a newbie pick them apart and it’s over. And the MODs? Ol’ Manhattan still hanging in there after offending nearly everyone here. It is not about fighting ignorance. If you want the long version I can send you my thesis on the dynamics of web based communities. You guys are the perfect model.

There is a thread in here somewhere where many, many people rake him / her over the coals for some comments he made about the Catholic church being a training school for pedophiles or some such. Most people said toss him out.

Sounds to me like you would have trouble finding your ass if it was pointed out to you. Mainly becasue by your own admission it’s been pointed out three times that you were talking through it but it seems not to have sunk in.
