Needs - now I don’t feel as guilty when I don’t feel like a “conversation” with my mom! My brother thinks I am an ass and a half for seeing Mom’s number on the display and ignoring it. But that’s the point of caller ID, right?
Um - what do I do to contribute to this thread… Well, I’ll eat A1 sauce on ANYTHING. Rice, bread, toast, fish, sliced tomatoes. It’s really good on Corn Chex cereal. Pop that stuff in the microwave with some salt and pepper and nuke it for a few minutes then eat it with a spoon… Mmm, mmm. I’ll do the same thing with ketchup and potato chips - salt, pepper, mircowave, spoon.
I have been known to put ranch dressing in a cup and eat it all simply by dipping saltine crackers in it. I’ve occasionally used pretzels for the same purpose, which is the only way I have ever been able to eat pretzels.
I put salt on most chocolate candies. (Concerned chocolate lovers in the crowd are recoiling in horror.)
When I was younger, I used to eat paper and glue sandwiches. Elmers School Glue was good, spread it on,fold over the paper and let it dry,but POGO PASTE was Da Bomb! Pogo paste and paper sandwiches-YUM!
I still eat raw spaghetti by just dipping it in the jar of sauce sometimes. It’s crunchy and good. I also nibble on raw beef when ever I’m cooking with it, and I love steak Tartar(sp?)
And I’m not talking about being 15 years old and doing it… It was this March!!! They sent me an E-mail wishing me a Happy Birthday last month!!
::hanging head in shame and leaving the room::
I have more shameful secrets but I’ll have to reveal them later… after some of the humiliation of revealing this painful secret has worn off!
I eat Ben & Jerry’s out of the pint with a spoon.
I eat French fry sandwiches on toasted buttered
white bread, sometimes with bacon.
I cannot eat watermelon with salting it heavily.
On the musical side, I have a huge collection of
Andrew Lloyd Webber cast CDS in such languages
as Japanese, German, French, Dutch, Hungarian,
Czech, Spanish, Hebrew, Swedish, Norwegian,
Italian, Korean, and Russian. I brag about this
ad naseum.

I like Spam with rice, too, except I use regular sticky rice and wrap it up with kimchee in a sheet of nori. I’m still not sure why people thing spam is gross, yet will eat things like hot dogs and sausage.
I love raw chocolate chip cookie dough. My favorite self-pity food is whomping up a batch of ccc (Tollhouse, of course) dough, putting in a jar in the fridge and just eating it with a spoon. Yes, I know some people do bake the stuff. I rarely do.
I love hot sauce, esp. Tabasco. I’ll eat in on almost anything. But :: I always put it on mac & cheese. Spike the dish with some additional sharp cheddar and then use lashings of Tabasco…yum! It gets this odd rosy hue, but hey.
ditto w/ the salt/chocolate connection. Try dipping pretzels into melted semisweet chocolate; or lay out some saltines, (add salt to taste), pour on some melted margarine or butter then pop in oven–then melt semisweet pieces on the hot crackers. Yum!
Besides fucking spoons (the most unintentionally funny thing I’ve ever said), I… uhm… er… uuuuuh… watch soap operas. 3 of them.
But I get to know who some of the big, breakout stars are before the rest of you because that’s where they get their starts (Meg Ryan, Julianne Moore, Marisa Tomei, Anne Heche, etc.). So HA!
Ayesha… Try it you’ll like it… Promise
Spoke… You are so right. Elvis did love it. Only difference with me though, I don’t fry it. I do use fat free mayo and of course light white bread. Got to keep this girly girl figure you know…
Dragwyr… I love the batter too. When in a restaurant I would just die if I could order a “Raw dough ball” God it kills me when they have to bake it!!
Nutella is an Italian chocolate spread with hazelnuts and it is wonderful stuff you can find in the US but if you ever visit Spain try Nocilla, it is similar but much better. I am not sure what it is but I believe it may have vanilla as well as hazelnut. I love Nocilla and always take a few jars back with me. When I run out of it I turn to Nutella
Peanut Butter, Mustard and Cheese sandwiches. Sometimes I even cook up some Campbell’s tomato soup, dump in so many crackers you can eat it with a fork and add that to the sandwich also. I also put salt on the sandwich.
Habanero pepper sauce straight out of the bottle. Just sip it a tiny bit at a time. Disgusting, I know…
