A very interesting MMP

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ YAWN It’s my Firday!

gt yikes! I’m glad more people weren’t hurt.

OK, gotta feed rumbly tummy and get purtified for irk. ICK!

Happy Saturday Y’all!

Up been out for pain au chocolate and a cafe creme at the little place round the corner and all I have to do today is go to the gorcery store. I am almost outta TP (sorry swampy!)

Successfully uploaded my US visa application to the embassy website and my appointment is on Thursday. One step closer to seeing my hubby again!

I got paid my annual bonus for last year and I got a little more than what I had proposed based on my objectives so that was good! We were re-doing the second bathroom in the house when I got back and looking at doing the kitchen so now we can afford it! Whoohoo!

I’m awake and my back is hurting. I guess I must not have moved all night. We’re trying to determine what we’re going to do today and whether or not it will involve flea markets.

Up, caffeinated, off to work. Hockey tonight.

Good morning! It’s below freezing here, and I am not amused! But soon I’ll get dressed for work outside and the fun on the deck will commence.

I’d rather be snoozing. I was all comfy and stuff when my stoopit bladder woke me. Then the dogs wanted out. Once I go outside, I’m done for. So much for sleeping in…

Happy Saturday! I want chocolate!

One more day of irk. I can do it…

On another note, I’d like to ask, "How stupid do they think I am??? I had a bill that…ah…well, it ended up in collections. Not a good thing. I know, I know. The notice I got about it said I could go online to pay them. Give either my debit card info or my bank account info to a collections agency? Bwahahahaha! That sort of thing is what post office money orders are for. Apparently they think I am both broke and stupid. Oh well, I sent the payment off yesterday.

Note: don’t have to go to the emergency room when you’re uninsured. The bill hurt more than what sent me there in the first place.

Half of Saturday has already gone, how did that happen? Yesterday was a good day, did some productive stuff at work and when I got home, 'im indoors had fixed the sound on my 'pooter so now I can listen to stuff. We went grocery shopping so now we have fixed the major problem of having no vodka and no rum in the house. We celebrated by drinking lots of tea and watching “Up”.

Today I have some errands to do in town and it’s my turn to cook tonight. Other than that, no plans really. I might catch up on some stuff on the TiVO, I might combine that with a bit of step exercise on the Wii. Or maybe not.

Tomorrow my friend is coming round to help me deliver some leaflets so that will largely involve walking the streets and shoving things through doors, and catching up on the latest gossip. I have a couple of letters to write and some recipes to sort out, other than that I got nuthin’.

Good morning everyone! I’ve been up since around 7:00 am. I tried to go to bed earlier last night; well early for me, but hubby would NOT stop snoring. After lying there for two hours, I went to another bedroom to sleep.

I have some stuff to buy at the store for tonight’s gathering and some final tidying to do, and then I’m set for tonight.

That’ll be the extent of my day.

Blurf

Ok, we’ve scaled back from flea market shopping to usual errand running due to the temperature outside.

Now I’m just waiting for TVMan to get ready so we can leave.

Sinus headache. Must shop for chairs (long story), return books, drop map off to be dry mounted. Must do all this NOW. Get up from the chair, and turn off puter.

<sigh> Sinus headache. Drinking hot tea.

Aw, hope the headache dissipates quickly, rigs.

Sigh, there’s no putting it off. I need to finish the last of my tidying, shower and head to the stores. Yes, “stores”, because now hubby wants me to stop at the liquor store too.

Lazy day again today. A nap was taken this afternoon.

I got TP when I was at the grocery store so no need to panic! Now drinkiing pink bubbly and watching chick fliks…so far I have watched Legally Blonde, The Wedding Date and now Sex in the City. Not sure what will be next…

how about “How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days”?

Oh I have that rosie! Good choice to continue the theme…that and McConouhay (sp??? I blame the pink bubbles!) is delicious! I apparently have a thing for TX gents…mr ems is from there as well :stuck_out_tongue:

Both kids are here, and both are asleep. It’s very nice. Nat’s quite convinced that we don’t have a baby, he has a baby. He’s coming home for overnights starting tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

How do you manage two? I realise I have no idea at all.

Other Quasi-Daughter and her husband and toddler came yesterday, brought dinner, and left everything a complete mess. I love them, but they are the messiest people. It’s amazing. Quasi-Daughter is the antithesis of that- everything is much cleaner after she’s been here a couple of hours. And reorganized.

The deck is done - OK, except for the railing on the stairs. It looks good, and I’m exhausted!! **FCD **has first dibs on the shower, and I’m next. Plus I get to do laundry - yay! :stuck_out_tongue:

No idea what to do for supper. We’re all too tired to go anywhere and I’m too tired to cook. Where is the supper fairy??

**LiLi **- my mom managed 3 under 3. I think she drank…

We’re back from errands and I have spray painted my shelves which will be totally AWESOME when I’m finished with them. There are several purple ones (duh) and one red one. Ok, actually, I think the purplish one is called ‘French Lilac’ so it’s not too dark.

Now I’m just waiting for the paint to dry so I can do another coat and then to move them from behind my car in the driveway so that I can run down to Rite Aid.

Are you all glad that I shared?

What about that Renee Zellwegger film that took place in the 50s or early 60s and was supposed to be like the Doris Day films? I saw the damned thing (in the theater) and cannot remember the name of it. It was as mindless as the others you’re enjoying. So mindless, it leaves no trace on my memory banks.
Pan cookies in the oven, errands run. Now for a (very) late lunch or early dinner.

rigs - do you mean Down With Love? Hated the script. LOVED the sets and costumes. In fact I decided, if I ever have the financial wherewithall, I am going to redo my whole house in 50s/60s kitsch - beatnik/mod
