Man, Megan doesn’t seem to give a rat’s ass about being in the bottom three. I think if she gets the boot, we could seriously see some of The Crazy on her sing-out.

I am no vocal expert, hell I can barely do happy birthday, but what’s up with Megan’s vibrato? Used sparingly and in the right context it can be beautiful, but it’s just too much with her.
She is dead sexy though. That tattoo and those perfect teeth. Very hot.
Oh, she had a child at home. I can understand her wanting to get off this show and get home. I did like her originally but she started to be pretty bad and trying to mix it up with silliness didn’t help.
She stopped being hot for me when I heard her sing Rockin’ Robin.

It’s fine for Simon to be honest and tell her they’re not going to even contemplate saving her, but then why bother with singing? She should have just said, “fine, there’s no point then,” and used the remaining time to say goodbye to the other contestants or whatever. No reason to be a performing monkey if you’re already gone.
They always did the sing outs before. He was telling her to relax and have fun with it because she didn’t have to worry about being saved, which I doubt she even wanted.
On the other hand, she showed class by not screwing up a live show. Performing in the face of adversity, in front of someone who just told you they want you to go away, has got to be gut-wrenching. She seemed like she had fun while she was there, and understood that there was no way she was going to make it to the end. That probably helps.
Megan was bad. She has a very good voice, but uses it sooo poorly, it’s like SHE is the 16-year-old, and not Alison. I like to think that with the exposure she’s had, this will open up opportunities for her, hopefully one of those being training with a real vocal coach. Someone with a good voice always has the potential to learn how to use it, whereas those who don’t start with that are just screwed. She did pretty poorly, week after week, but I find it impossible to dislike her. Maybe she’ll take something away from this experience, and the top 10 tour, and use her exposure to improve her life.
I really enjoyed seeing the contestants joking with each other and having fun. Even the bottom three seemed to be enjoying Lady Gaga’s performance while awaiting elimination. It left me thinking how nice it would be if they didn’t play head games and torture them every elimination day, and instead had the performances, jokes, fun, and then one says goodbye at the end of the night. I know reality shows seem to be all about torturing ppl, but that doesn’t mean EVERY one has to be about that.
