I like the dogwalker. I don’t know how talented she’ll turn out to be, if given the chance there’s some potential there, but I like her more than the previous singers so that’s something.
I’m really trying to like Leslie. She reminds me of a typical spunky anime girl, doing her best to succeed against whatever life throws at her. But I have to agree with Simon, she looks out of her element.

The judges telling the girl who butchered that song that she “chose a too-safe song, we wanted the bluesy/R&B vibe you showed in the auditions” was too ironic. Bonnie isn’t bluesy? She just sucked all the life out of that song, she was so over melisma I was left wondering if she had any plan what note she was going for with every single word she warbled.
Hate her.

Well, I’d agree with the judges that that particular song is probably the least bluesy Bonnie Raitt song I know.

She looks a little like Steven Tyler but doesn’t have his singing chops. This is passable but nothing special. I guess it’s cool that she’s doing Aerosmith.
Antonella sounded very flat to me, plus she had a Goat Girl thing going on at times. Not good.
Can we add “I don’t wanna miss a thing” (or whatever the actual title is?) song to the list of banned tunes? Didn’t some guy sing this last year too?
