Best of the night by a mile.
Sligh is the leader right now. Not only does he have the sense of humor to show this is just entertainment, not the Paris Peace Talks. He can also sing. Almost everybody missed pitifully. Blake did fairly well. Sligh blew it away.
OK, I think I’m now officially too old for “American Idol,” because I don’t recognize a damn thing these kids are singing – not even the songs I actually know the words too (see: RUDY).
I think Chris was good, but I don’t know this song, so I can’t really tell. Was he singing about Jesus? What the crap? Where’s my Geritol?
Oh … OK, I like Chris, but that was assy. Simon is a turd, but you Don’t. Kick. The Boss. In. The Nuts.
Chris has a fantastic voice.
I can’t figure out what Simon’s problem is. I think he might just be scared of a fat guy getting deep. Sligh’s the only one who’s really gotten the crowd going at all.

Beatbox guy was okay, I didn’t really mind him, he was the best of the night until him, but that’s not a huge compliment.
Sanjaya was absolutely terrible. I feel bad because that was absolutely rotten from beginning to end. He was kind of near the key, I guess, but he did miss a few notes.
Sligh was pretty good but nothing to write home about.
