You know, I think Sanjaya’s performance tonight wasn’t half bad. He can go out with his head held high after this one. Sure, he’s not up to the level of the other performers, but this gave some credibility to his placement in the finals.

I like Sandy’s performance better than I like Gina’s. And that’s a shame because I wanted to like it.
First time watching this season. I must be on a completely different wavelength than the judges: I thought the girl Simon dismissed as “too cabaret” was great – she made me sit up and actually pay attention to the TV for a minute. Then I thought the kid with the long hair (Sanjaya…?) was terrible, and was shocked that the judges gave him good marks!! :eek: At least the consensus here seems to be that he’s gotta go.
I have to agree. I love Gina, I love this song…but this performance was agonizing. I’m disappointed.
