TGIF! It looks like I’ll be out early today. I think I’ll swing by the Asian market before doing the grocery shopping and heading home.
Today turned into a cluster@#$% of epic proportions.
I woke up with mild nausea and more significant gastrointestinal distress. I made it into work anyway since Miss Q was supposed to be working with me and she could cover for me if I had to go home.
Miss Q called in with the same symptoms I was having.
That’s fine, I thought. I’ll wait until Big Boss comes in and he’ll let me go home. HR Guy showed up to do the paperirk for the new hires. The new hires come in to get buried under the paperirk. Everyone else comes in. Big Boss does not.
I ask HR Guy what’s the deal and he said Big Boss was off for his FIL’s funeral.
“I’m sick,” I tell HR Guy. He gets big eyes and texts Detailed AGM. Detailed will come in around 10 for the morning meeting, can I hold out until then? Okay, I say. As promised, Detailed shows up for the meeting. Then he has to shuffle his pile of papers around a little bit and smoke a cigarette.
It’s a quarter after 11 by the time I get to go. I hadn’t eaten much of anything this morning because I didn’t want to tax my tender tummy, so I was having a blood sugar crash on top of everything else.
One shower and bowl of soup later and I’m feeling more human. Barely.
Is there something wrong with yahoo today? I want my damn google back.
Every time I try to log in to FB i get sent to the wikipedia page, now I can’t log in to gmail, once again I get sent to the wikipedia page.
Even coming here requires extra steps.
Is it me or is there something wrong with yahoo?
Yahoo, Google, FB and SDMB are all working good for me. Maybe trying clearing your cache/history/cookies and restarting the browser?

Yas, clearing the cache daily is a good idea. Also, if you have it, run a defragger.

Oh, and I just organized all the recipes I’ve printed in the last few years. Now I can find what I want with minimal looking! YAY!

So… I’m rereading this and think I’m misunderstanding. Dumb question - is everything happening from Yahoo? What if you type in www.google.com and try working from there? Does that change anything? Or do I have this backwards…
That would be silly, since we no longer have an aquarium…
I was rather thinking that he could make them at a low price for your Facebook Friends, and for me.
I think the answer to that is “Don’t hold your breath.”

That is what was happening.
Firefox switched from google to yahoo ( a while back) and for whatever reason today yahoo search wasn’t working.
Unless I typed in the full address starting with www. ir would take me to the wiki page.
It’s working now though.

I use Firefox and I made Google my default search engine. You should be able to do that, too.
