This is why I like avatars. Blob has decided to use an image of a bat rather then a blob. This shows to me that Blob is more than a name. It’s like Blob was named Blob by someone else but has a bigger personality than that. I have thusly learned something about Blob.
What do you mean, “image of a bat”? Mr Rorschach, do you know what he’s talking about? 
I was looking for a bat image to replace my Orange Booger[sup]TM[/sup]. Looks like that ship left the barn.
There were lots of them on the free (as in copyright) clipart site I found. We could get a bat colony going, like Batman’s cave
Could someone do me a favor and tell E-DUB how to fix his avatar for Chrome users? Download the image and rename it without any commas, then upload it again.
It hasn’t yet been said yet but it must be said: I love your cartoon horse! It’s been so long since I watched Quick Draw McGraw as a kid that I didn’t initially recognize either the image or the reference to his alter ego El Kabong. But it still made me smile every time I saw it. 
That’s exactly why I don’t bother with an avatar. 50x50 pixels? GTFOOH with that crap.
200x200 would be a LOT better, imo.
Second. Even 150x150 would be good enough.
I think Tuba said eventually, if the server could handle it, she’d like to try 100x100, which seems to be the standard for most boards I’ve been to.

I’m not a fan and for some reason my default settings across all my devices mean I don’t see them.
That’s fine by me. I don’t remember names very well without triggers so when I read posts the name of the poster means very little to me in terms of past views and comments. I find it easy to skim over those names so I come to each post on its own merits as much as possible.
If I had a little picture or colourful image to prompt me I think that may more easily trigger prejudiced associations for specific posters and I don’t want that.
Apologies, sounds pompous I know, but the value I get from this board would be diminished if I started dismissing valid points out of hand just because of who posted it.
I was wondering what the deal was with that. I can see everyone else’s avatar just fine but his just has the broken image link icon with the text “E-DUB’s avatar”. I figured either something was screwed up or it was very meta, I just couldn’t figure out which.
But if you did, you’d have a picture of a Nobbly Bobbly, right?
I’m pitting myself for being unable to figure out how to resize a simple image of a Caution: Slow Moving Vehicle sign. Every one is too big.
Bring back the damn slide rules*, clearly I’m too slow for the big-boy computers.
*Oh, who am I kidding? I don’t know how to use a slide rule, either.

That just looks like a generic traffic sign to me.
I’d recommend this image instead. It’s the sticker that’s actually put on slow moving vehicles, and came up when I searched for caution slow moving vehicle on Google.
I think he’s going with that on purpose.
