OK, so this wild and crazy bunch is planning on getting together on a Sunday afternoon, so we can all get to bed early, in a nice family restaurant so we can bring the kids. Party on dudes. I’ll be there, if I can get off. Wouldn’t want to miss this sort of mad shindig.
I make it June 18th at 6:00 PM at Chevy’s in Greenway Shopping Center in Greenbelt, MD, or, I have not been listening. Actually, if we are gonna do a Sunday during the daylight hours thing, I say lets go for a park, a picnic, and around 4 PM, everyone sign up to bring a favorite dish, or cookout thingie. (Lord knows we have left ourselves enough time to grow our own fresh veggies.)
So, If this is the actual deal, who prefers restaurant, and who prefers picnic? Who prefers or demands, insists, begs, or whatever for an entirely different set of ideas? (and you better come up with a complete plan, dammit, or we are gonna have to bring fireworks.)

Gee, Tris, I think a picnic is a great idea. It’s gott be someplace where they have pavilions in case of rain tho. Who knows a place in Greenbelt that fits that description?

The nearest Park is Greenbelt Park, which is right next door to Greenway Center (and both are close enough to me to walk to). Do you really want to do a picnic though? I think the park closes at dusk. Will that allow us enough time?
What about Chevy’s at 4 PM? That way we all have a fun little afternoon and can spend a couple more hours meeting/annoying/flirting/fighting with each other and still get home in time to catch the requisite amount of Z’s. Not sure I’ll be able to convince Mrs O. and the Tzeroling to come along but if Chevy’s is a family-style restaurant it may happen. Or I can just go stag Anyone know the bus route that’ll get me from Greenbelt to the shopping center where Chevy’s is located?

June 18th sounds just peachy dandy to me. I know where the Chevy’s is of which you speak, and it sounds like a fine choice.

If you can make it the Saturday, both myself and Drain can make it. If it’s the Sunday, neither of us can since I have to get her back to Columbus and me back in Raleigh in time for me to get to work on Monday.
Anyone know the bus route that’ll get me from Greenbelt to the shopping center where Chevy’s is located?
That is, if I can take the night off from work, but it probably won’t be a problem.
