Here is pretty much all you need to know about Cindy McCain. Or, to be more accurate, here is all I could stomach learning about her.
She’s um, interesting. I especially like her family feeling and her warmth toward others.

I didn’t know crayons could sniff glitter glue.
I want me a glitter glue sniffing crayon!
I don’t have that many issues with Cindy McCain. She seems not extraordinarily bright and prone to stretching the truth a wee bit. Par for the course nowadays.
Actually, she seems prone to stealing from charity to support her drug habit, which isn’t par for any course I’ve ever played on.
Glitter-glue sniffing has been shown to cause unintentional omission of conjunctions, by both people and crayons.
True about the stealing, and I don’t excuse it. I do think that addictions are beasts, though, so I feel more sorry for her than I probably should.
I might too, if she were the kind of person who could only afford the drugs by stealing from a charity. But she’s stinking filthy rich. She can fuck right off.
Her bone or the other person’s?
What struck me most about her after the last debate was what a liability she must be in the campaign, which for me isn’t necessarily bad because I’m rooting for the other side. But she made almost no connection with the crowd, instead following a measured distance behind her husband like some kind of robot. Is she an android? Is that how she is able to go around breaking people’s bones? Seriously though she seems to have no schmoozing skills whatsoever and looked to be completely out of her element. I can’t despise a person for that alone, since I’m not so good in that department myself. But there’s no denying it’s a problem for a politician spouse. More than ever now it seems that the spouse is an important part of what the candidate brings to the table, and ultimately to the office after winning.
I thought that she was stealing from the charity because she was passing off fake prescriptions, not because she could get the drugs free that way.
So, not the money but the access was the issue?
That doesn’t make it better to steal from a charity, but it makes it more comprehensible. She couldn’t just buy the drugs.
Clarifying pseudo’s joke (and in a sad way, the funniest thing you’ll see in this campaign)
This whole cunt thing is ridiculous. Some dude wrote a book saying McCain said that to three reporters, and you all believe it like it were gospel. So I guess you believe everything in the Obama-bashing books, too, right?
I don’t see why. I believe the claim that Obama is an elitist refers to his state of mind and view of other people. Lots of lefty university professors are also elitist and are definitely not rich.
I think you’re a cunt.
Yes, but the typical use of the word “elitist” has powerful connotations of snobby rich people. Rich people who are calling their opponents “elitist” usually dress down a bit for the task, to avoid having their hearers think “Hmmm, pot, kettle.”
Elitism is a mere state of mind, is it? And your problem with even that amorphous state would be…exactly what, Rand Rover? As a fervent Objectivist, of course. A believer in the rugged individual, the rampant Self; perfect, predatory benefactors who thin the prey and whose leavings nurture the weaker.
It’s almost impossible to summarize Ayn Rand without sounding like a Conan pastiche.
You forgot the steamy sex scenes. Not till Newt Gangrene and “Goober” Liddy did a conservative write such hot, erotic prose.
This photo would seem to justify McCain’s comment to his wife. She looks like she went through an Earl Schieb paint spray booth with the top down.
Just tried my own link and it seems to have problems. Here’s the link for your cut and paste pleasure: You Know, Cindy, He Might Have Been More Tactful But John Sorta Has A Point About The Tranny Makeup
Maybe Rand Rover is John Gault?
“Lots of lefty” has a nice alliteration, though. He should have tacked “liberal” on to make it sing.
That really looks like a long, thin tongue is about to shoot out of her mouth and snatch a housefly out of the air. Seriously, I know people joke, but she honestly does look like reptile.
Who is John Gault?
Obama’s elitism is not in that he thinks he’s better than everyone else. That state of mind is perfectly fine with me. Obama’s elitism is that he thinks he knows what’s best for everybody else.
Thank you!
I haven’t laughed out loud all day, so ta for that. And McCain doesn’t think he knows what’s best for everybody else? The pro-birth folk don’t think they know? The Christian conservatives don’t think they know we need saving? The Wall St “gurus” don’t think they know better than Joe Middle Class how to make and spend (other people’s) money? Since when do lefties know what’s best and righties don’t? :dubious: They both want power over individual choices and societal parameters.
Your mind is an interesting entity.
LilShieste[sub]I could have sworn it was spelled Gault. I meant John Galt. Oops…[/sub]
Who is he, indeed.
