“Pink Moon” by Nick Drake recently came up on my music playlist, which reminded me of this old VW ad. I don’t like car commercials and I’m not a fan of VW, but damn, this was a good ad.

I must say, out of all the new Jake From State Farm commercials, I still like the “Parker Promo”. She’s just adorable somehow.
There’s something wrong with Jake if he doesn’t invite Parker inside for pizza and a movie.
I like how the “side of ranch [dressing]” is just a gallon jug of the stuff. And there’s another commercial in the series in which he’s at the butcher shop and she piles what looks like fifty pounds of meat on the scale.
That’s not Parker though. That’s Maya. Parker is adorable! “You’re the man, man!”
