Yes, we bought the Burgomatic when I was a young. And yes we regretted it.
But I think I more than made up with it by just enjoying his infomercials after that. Because I never bought another one of his products again.
The Chevy commercial where the guy slaps his buddy’s Cheeto-dusted hand away from the giant touch screen is kinda funny.
I’ve been seeing the “KAYAK Denier” ad for a while, which I take as a good sign, because clearly somebody with a marketing budget has concluded that it’s good business/good PR to mercilessly mock the loons (my read is that antivaxxers are the closest analog to the “denier” in the commercial, but 2020 election outcome deniers and climate change deniers are reasonably close fits, too).

I just saw this the other day and thought “Bitch, train that damn dog or leave his ass at home”. I like dogs just fine but, like kids, if they can’t behave, don’t take them everywhere with you.

And the gendered insult was necessary, why, here? Nothing about that commercial was specific to the dog-owner being a “bitch”.
Avoid using gender-specific insults from now on.
My thoughts were along the lines of her character in Boyz in the Hood asking Ice Cube’s character Why is it every time you talk about a female you gotta say bitch, ho, or hootchie?
