The Safari ad from Apple is beautifully Hitchcockian and suitably creepy. Here’s the long version.
The Ryze mushroom coffee commercial with the cute little mushroom girl is cute. We like it. Only…
I can’t help but think that she’s boiling her own kind for the woman to consume.
Just think of her as the executioner.
Not the whole commercial. It’s very much Lay’s pretending to support small farmers when we all know how they get their potatoes. But I love the cutsie, folksie song that plays. The one about if you were a floor, I’d wanna be a rug.
You know what? I just watched the whole, long form commercial and. well, I hate it. I hate how it misrepresents how large corporations actually acquire their vegetables.
Still love the song. though.
I got a chuckle seeing the recent (and now quite topical) Allstate “Mayhem” commercial. It starts off with the line “I’m the guy sitting next to your girl on the Kiss Cam”.
He hasn’t lost his (oh, so evil) touch.
for the stories they tell…
I love the one commercial for Wet Wipes. Parents out in the park with the little baby.
Ah, nature!
Then you hear the farting sound and the baby smiles.
Probably more serious than many of the offerings in this thread, and the pharmeceutical company calls it a “short film,” but I’ve seen it on TV in a commercial slot once…it’s an ad about the stigma surrounding diabetes. I only have a couple of relatives affected by diabetes, but this one got my attention…I’ve certainly heard many of these things muttered about them before.
I literally just saw the following for the first time and stopped to find this thread.
It’s an ad for Chick-fil-a and the scene is a wedding where the DJ keeps playing the Chicken Dance song. We see the bride, going along with the dance but getting increasingly worried. Then we see that the DJ is a cow, her little hoof working the sound mixer. I got a real kick out of it.
We used to have a Chick fil a billboard with a 3D cow painting EAT MORE CHIKIN

Skechers Zombies is great. I still smile after seeing it several times.
I think this is the full length version
I just saw a commercial for the much-despised Liberty (with Doug!) at a football game, and Emu spots a mascot dressed as a huge bird and takes off onto the field after it. I’m sorry, but Emu doing what an emu does amuses me every time.
Most insurance company ads are overdone, but I’m amused by the series of State Farm commercials featuring a certain well-known actor. “Having insurance isn’t the same as having State Farm. It’s like getting Bateman when you need the protection of Batman.”
Also note that Batman is played by Will Arnett (who voiced Batman in the Lego movies), and Will Arnett and Jason Bateman together host the Smartless podcast (with Sean Hayes), thus the “do a podcast or something” comment.
I am liking the Kia Telluride commercial that mocks it’s competition by doing what they do in their commercials (sorry, cannot find a link - it’s pretty new) - driving up a flight of stairs at a fancy estate (Land Rover), perky tunes for the urban hipsters (Cadillac?), dogs in the back seat (Subaru), getting sideways in the mud (Ford), etc…, and then at the end saying it “does all that and more!” Very clever.
I like it because it reminds me of Arrested Development (where they played brothers).
