Looks to be a rainy day today, with a high of 66.
I slept through the night last night, waking just before the alarm went off.
I need to order groceries today. I don’t know it we will pick them up today or tomorrow. I’m still too blurfy to think straight this morning.
The heat is on. ‘Twas 67 in the House so I fired up the furnace. Fine with me. Ursala Kitteh is sitting on the heat vent.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN I was a slugabed this mornin’. 'Tis 72 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 91 and likely rain/tstorms/apocalypse this afternoon. We shall see. It appears to have rained a bit overnight. No biggie plans for the day. I have a small storage cabinet for the guest bathroom that needs to be assembled so I suppose I should do that. Plus also I go to ensure my mental is still healthy at two this afternoon and to get my happy pills prescription renewed. Rah. We shall swipe the General’s sup.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day. Double rah.

Like many other mumpers, a rainy day is forecast. Should be getting my new carpet for the bedroom installed today and Home Depot has the new bathroom mirrors I ordered ready for pickup, so things could be a little busy. Sadly if the rain shows up in quantity, soccer practice gets cancelled again; missing my (modest) exercise this week.
Now, to prepare BLT’s for breaking fast.

And all the dumb things I did resulting in the knee pain I now feel on days like this.
Dentist today at 1210. Great way to screw up a whole day. I haven’t been in a while so it will be fun I’m sure. I haven’t been since I quit smoking so it will be nice to clean off the last of the nicotine. I have been quit now for almost 17 months.

Three day weekend starts tomorrow for me because tomorrow is FURNACE DAY!! Super excited about having heat again! And circulating air! I’ll be able to take a steamy shower without the house feeling like a jungle! My kids won’t complain that it’s too cold to get out of bed in the morning. Ok, Juliet Jr. will, but that’s just because she’s not a morning person.
Working machine-side today. This big machines are really quite amazing and writing about them is surprisingly fun.
Doggio, Romeo Jr. had the zoomies at 0600 today. At least it wasn’t on my bed. But he was flushing the toilet, then running back to his room, then back to the bathroom, then back to his room… I hope he didn’t flush something that will clog the plumbing or that was valuable. Time will tell.
We got our furnace inspected and serviced yesterday and the tech said it’s in great shape. That’s good news - we’ve tried to have it maintained on a regular basis. I’m convinced that paying a little to keep things running well (like cars) is smarter than paying a whole lot when preventable things fail because you ignored them.
And on that note, it’s close enough to lunch time that I can, um, have lunch!!

Edwardsville Pennsylvania; although with all the coal dust and some houses still using gas lights it was easier than you would think to confuse the two.
I don’t know why I hate the dentist so much because it feels good to me when they dig into my gums and use that super sonic cyber water knife. I had a good check up and cleaning. Overall my teeth were not as terrible as they could have been. It is a phobia that I avoid the dentist yet when I do go I am happy about it. Brain equals weird.
Been watching the hearings on TV about the confirmation of SCOTUS. Pretty interesting stuff there.
