Favorite pop tart flavor and/or method of eating it

I remember I tried to eat a Pop-Tart so it would be in the shape of the Batman logo like in this commercial: Kellogg's Pop Tarts Batman and Robin Bat Signal Commercial - YouTube

I’m almost positive I remember the insides being scorching hot after they came out of the toaster when I toasted them as a kid. Eating them hot kind of scares me to be honest. I hate having my mouth burned!

The cinnamon ones are stupid good without roasting. I promise.

its funny kelloggs has a generic mixed berry flavor that they’ve used since the 70s they give it a different name for the kids usually with garish frosting but its the same stuff………
oh yeah watch out the gingerbread flavor that’s out soon its pretty good
As for toaster strudel there by the frozen waffles because besides the fruit ones they make a version that’s a breakfast sandwich with meat egg and cheese

There’s more than 27, because I’ve tried flavors not on that list. Including A&W root beer, orange crush (both terrible) as well as some jolly rancher flavors.

Plus you’ve got all the knock off brands. I’d wager its closer to 60+ flavors total.

This list has more than 27, but it still isn’t comprehensive because I’ve tried flavors not on this list.

Go to the frozen foods section and look for the frozen breakfast foods section. They are over there.

It did kinda niggle at me that there could be more than 27.
Wonder if there’s a ‘most obscure’ variety (lowest production run, sales, etc.)
I’ll bet there’s no marmite pop-tarts variety.
Pimento?

I think the guava ones that I picked up at Big Lots qualify.

Warning! You will never be the same. It is not only tasty, it’s fun.
Like stated above, in the frozen food section.

There is only one correct answer. The best are the frosted BSC. While they are acceptable right out of the box, they are incalculably better toasted.

They must always be frosted. In no particular order" the best flavors are cherry, chocolate fudge, raspberry, cookies & cream.

To us, the brown sugar and cinnamon were bought as punishment. And I’m also completely burned out on anything grape, blueberry (except for muffins), and strawberry.

ANYTHING pumpkin or green apple must be taken right to the trashcan. Those two flavors are horrible. I’d rather drink antifreeze.

Thanks. Game changer. But I still have not seen them in my local stores.

I forgot to mention the proper way of eating them is to first grab them out of the toaster oven with ones bare fingers. When said fingers have stopped throbbing somewhat, break off corners and eat. Not that they’re particularly good; just the dull part you’re obligated to eat to get to the good stuff. Then and only then can you make your first attempt at a bite of the molten, fruity, frosted goodness.

Prompted by this thread, I studied the Pop Tart offerings in my local grocery store this morning and we’re being seriously shortchanged. There were maybe SIX flavors. WTF??

I love the passion in your post. It makes me want to start a thread (relax, I’m not going to) asking whether in 2018 the Pop Tart Divide is a dealbreaker in pursuing a new romantic relationship.

Brown sugar cinnamon or unfrosted strawberry. Eaten cold as an appetizer to guilt.

ETA: Having now read the post above mine, apparently superdude and I are two ends of the pop tart continuum.

BSC or unfrosted strawberry. Unfrosted blueberry is great too, but I haven’t seen it at the grocery store in years. Most frosted flavors are too sweet for me.

I never cared for any of the fruit flavors. Chocolate Vanilla-Creme, Chocolate Fudge, and Brown Sugar Cinnamon, in that order, were always my go-to flavors.
Sadly, Chocolate Vanilla-Creme has been discontinued in favor of the more trendy-sounding Cookies and Creme, which are good but not quite the same.
Kellogg’s brought back the original CVC as a “limited edition” a couple years ago and I bought about ten boxes.

I do toast them, light to medium. When the frosting is just slightly browned they are perfect. And, of course, the only way to eat them is crust first, middle last.

My people!

Our local co-op has an organic brand cherry-pomegranate variety that I love. Unfortunately they are every bit as bad for you as a regular Pop Tart and more expensive to boot!

We used to buy those at Costco. I could almost justify them as healthy…

Back in the olden days: Nabicso Toastettes, blueberry. So much better than Kellogg’s or Toast’em or supermarket brands. Wish they’d bring them back.

They were delicate and less doughy and instead of thick sugar frosting (or its absence) a light dusting.

Now: brown sugar cinnamon, no brand preference

They used to have Grape, both frosted an un.

I miss Grape.
