If Lurker had used the instead of <>, the Vb code would have kicked in and produce [sub]this[/sub]. That wouldn’t have been very informative, since you still wouldn’t have had a clue as to how he did it (unless you quoted him and saw the code for yourself, but I am digressing). To prevent this from happening, he used <>, which are not processed by the code, to explain the coding procedure. Tricky guy, isn’t he?

struuter, hon, don’t you know there are wolves starving in Albania? Throwing good food out like that. Criminy! For months I have been suffering the throes of knish withdrawal. An emptiness has been in my life (not to mention my stomach) since those carefree days of yore when I was able to regularly chow down on THE absolute tastiest knishes this side of, well, Brooklyn.
Realizing all the trouble you go through, allow me to donate this el grande sack of potato flour, along with 20 pounds of onions. My contact lenses protect my eyes from onion gas, so I shall volunteer to chop those onions, if you’d like. Sorry, guys, this thread is now dead. No one ever posts to a thread after I do. I kill threads just be reading them. I open threads that die of loneliness. No one can kill a thread like I.
