At no point was GG frightened or even concerned. He has feets like a Lemor, he can grip the door with his toes. I also wasn’t concerned. He’s a young, healthy teenager. They bounce really well at that age and sometimes ya gots to fall…
I’m sorry that things have gotten so bad so quickly with your in-laws. I understand that folks who develop dementia remember when they could do things which is just another frustration for them. I hope things get more peaceful for eveyone soon.
It’s a little easier for us because we are retired, so can get on him more. The real lesson we want him to learn…and it is one all of our other cats learned…is don’t do that when the people are around. Have the decency to jump off the table when you hear us coming, damnit
We live a few miles away from the I17. Az dept of transportation has cameras over the interstates to monitor road conditions. We do much retired chortling when checking the traffic on long weekends.
Happy birthday and your idea of power-slothing is quite good! I hope you enjoyed your day
Thanks, I always look forward to another episode of As the Tails Wag.
Awesome, thank you!
Not neurotic, justifiably concerned sounds more like it. Heat really can kill.
It was a little cooler here, didn’t reach 110 but there wasn’t any wind which made the sun feel hotter. I didn’t spend much time outside either.
As heat enforced inside sloth happened today, I put my seminar piece on the stand and got to work. (I’ve been working on my BFF’s piece because it was on the stand and I was too lazy to change them.)
The piece is a sampler with 16 squares. The class moved quickly, as it needed to so the instructor could cover all areas in just four days. I’ve managed to finish several squares and have figured out where I miscounted.
I miscounted the grid on the upper left part of the canvas, so the super duper complicated square to its left that I worked with two 70 inch lengths of floss has to be ripped out despite being perfect. This is how things end up in the closet for weeks or even months.
