Mom and I are both fully vaxed and double boosted. We did not take a whole lot of precautions during the 8 day seminar because we assumed that people our age who had survived the plague would also be vaxed and boosted. At least a third of the attendees have come down with the plague. Mom and I are both fine. I can’t speak for everyone there, but a bunch of folks were from Arizona where getting vaccinated never really took off. The others that we know of were from Idaho, so it’s pretty safe to assume that a good number of them also though the plague was a hoax.
I’m saying all that to say that Beamette’s vaccinations will probably amp up her young and healthy immune system very well.

Oh, nettie, that sounds really scary, but I agree that if the docs thought you needed to be seen right away that you would have known. My advice is to not give in to the temptation to consult Dr. Google. That way lies fear and madness.
I know you already have no spare time at all, but have you thought about contacting your local humane society and volunteering to walk dogs or pet cats? I have met some of the nicest people doing volunteer work and about half of them were men…
And still picking fights with the big boys and golf carts. The old guy’s still got some life left in him!
The Grand Canyon hotel is open again, if I buy the train tickets would your budget allow you a small, expensive, no-frills single room there? I really want to watch the sun set over the Canyon, but hubs has no interest in doing such a frivolous thing and of course we wouldn’t want the mumpers to gossip about us if we shared a room. If we watch the beer/mead consumption, we can wake up in time to watch the sun rise as well.
I love taking people to the Grand Canyon for the first time, it really is awe-inspiring and ever changing. However, tour bus driver’s script never changes, and the horses are so bored with the gun fight that they don’t even bother to flick an ear. It’s still fun and we don’t have to drive or even think about where to go next which so day drinking an happen. (There are also smoking platforms between the cars and weed is legal here.)
You are a very silly Mumper. Don’t you remember that nobody gets beaten with wet noodles around here lessen they really needs it. This is a safe place, we don’t judge and we understand that much of your Dope time is spent doing very boring adult things.
ANYHOW, everyone is welcome to judge this! GG loves his Bright Red Dot of Joy so much that Hubs bought a robot BRDoJ.

I always worry when I hear of this sort of thing because bad things often happen when wild animals and people get too close. I hope your big kitty moves on before too long and yeah, no ambling around in the dark for a while. We do want to keep you around for a while.
We had more rain today, which was nice. Back when we planted our clover patch, hubs got impatient with the white clover I had planted and over-seeded with red clover. My white clover grows to about three inches, red clover grows to be about knee high so has overwhelmed the white clover with the constant rain. It is very pretty and the bees and butterflies are loving it. Hubs hates it because it is so unruly and is making plans to kill everything AGAIN this winter so we can start over with the short white clover next spring.
The wild winds with the storms have beaten the heck out of our tomatoes and the fruit that is ripening is splitting due to over watering. I’ve had to throw over half of them away because they were just too beaten up against the brick walls of their planters. I was able to salvage enough to take to a friend a mile away who’s tomato plant had many flowers but had never produced a fruit. It still had nice flowers and ours have none.
