Isn’t Lucifer supposed to be the most beautiful of the angels? So what’s with the demon face supposed to be his “real” self? Or was he disfigured during the rebellion?
Loved the Maze and Trixie trick or treating event, and Dr. Linda’s complete paralysis.
Agreed. That was very nicely done. Both Lucifer playing, wracked by guilt. Also in the background, Amenadiel’s scene with Mum. Nice use of light in both in Lux and at the site of Uriel’s burial. (Does an angel body decompose?) Suggestion that Dad is present in the Light, but none of them, in spite of being divine beings, can see it or sense it.
About last night’s episode – loved Lucifer palling around with Dan! At this point, though, he really needs to stop calling him “Detective Douche”. That’s getting old.
I also enjoyed Maze confronting Linda about Lucifer’s big reveal in the previous episode.
Though she was traumatized, she needed to “snap out of it”, and the sexy demoness managed to accomplish just that. Excellent!
And it is always hilarious to see Lucifer interacting with Trixie. They should have more scenes together!
Dan’s been working out! I was surprised that he had a more impressive physique than Lucifer did. Still, going on the whole package (ahem) Luci still has the definite advantage IMO.
Loved Dan’s Lucifer imitation!
“Douchifer”!
I was yelling at the screen at the end: “Open it! Come on!” Very effective and touching scene.
Yeah, in a way, Linda could be grateful for this revelation. Knowing that Lucifer is the devil lets her off the hook for her previous unethical behavior with him, as he was just so damn irresistible. It says a lot for her that she was able to terminate it. And that she didn’t go completely mad at having her very rational worldview overturned.
Agreed, bounty hunter is perfect job for Maze.
But the best part was the midsections of Dan and Lucy. Dan’s face is not very interesting, but his middle, lovely. No matter how he looks, though, he doesn’t have anywhere near the sex appeal of Lucifer. That man inspires so many happy dreams. Though, come to think about it, Amenadiel turned up in a dream a couple days ago…
Question. In the mythology of this show, who created the demons? Is Lucifer Maze’s creator? Is her leaving his employ a smaller-scale equivalent of his rebellion against heaven?
Loved it as always. One of my favorite parts was when Dan had the blade and was yelling at Lucifer about his pudding–and it ended up that Lucifer had been the one to steal it.
Also loved the line (don’t remember exactly how it went) about how Lucifer would rather be chubby than a pathetic loser in a corset.
I was getting a bit “meh” about the show, but the last several episodes have definitely reawakened my enthusiasm.
One thing I didn’t get though, what is the big (evil?) plan of Lucifer’s mother? Just to have Lucifer turn evil and vengeful by having the knife prey on his humanity?
So, if the two folks are both claiming to do the murder, can their lawyers use the other confession to sow reasonable doubt? I seem to remember that as a plot in some book or movie.
I don’t know, but I’m not sure what they’re trying to accomplish. If they’re both convicted of murder, it’s not like they’ll be able to live in the same cell (or likely even the same prison). If they get life, they might never see each other again. So they can hardly stay together.
Loved the episode, though. I think next week we’re finally going to get an inkling of whether Chloe is more than she seems.
