Maybe I’m half right?
You remember right. They knew the ingredients but not the “proportions” (the formula that only the doctor knew).
No, you are remembering correctly. They already knew what the ingredients were. Lucy needed to get the amounts and proportions of each from the professor. Presumably the order and other instructions, too.
I think that it went like this – Ella and Douche went to get the rare ingredient itself, whil Lucifer goes to Hell to find out the precise formula needed for all the ingredients in the antidote. The dead-and-damned professor was the only one who knew the precise formula.
Thanks all, I missed the part where they knew the ingredients but not the exact recipe.

Hey, just a reminder – Lucifer returns on Monday, May 1, 2017, with the “Candy Morningstar” episode!
Thank you kindly.
For the Canadians, Lucifer just aired.

What? The lousy Canucks are gettin’ the drop on us? About something as important as Lucifer?
Good Golly, ain’t nuthin unholy, anymore? Aw, the horror…
Figured there was more to Candy – though I was not sure exactly what.

I was hoping that she would stay for more than just one episode, myself.
What I saw was very intriguing – a woman who was flighty but not stupid, especially about emotional undercurrents. I’d have liked to have seen more.
And very observant, as well. She noticed the suspect (was he the band’s manager?) in the crime scene photo, and no one else had!
Yep–though I bought her explanation about how, being a stripper (ahem “exotic dancer”) who didn’t work with real names, she was really good with faces (…and…other things
)
I didn’t catch on to her schtick, but by the end of the episode I was bummed that she was leaving.
So glad the show is back!
Did I miss something where everyone knew Candy was leaving, particularly Chloe? Otherwise, it seems like 'Luci is going to have some 'splaining to do.
You didn’t miss anything. I think the ‘splainin’ is gonna have to happen next week.
Ya know, Lucifer claims to never lie, but it does appear that he was being at least somewhat deceptive with the whole “Candy Morningstar” scenario. Or perhaps not.
We shall see…
Hmm…that’s a good point. He did say she was his wife, didn’t he? And that was a lie…(presumably, unless he actually did marry her, but that seems a long way to go for a ruse.)
A long way for you or me, but we’re not effectively immortal.
Assuming both parties are game (and she evidently would be), how hard is a divorce in CA or NV? And of course, there would be no need for a divorce, unless either of them wants to legally marry someone else. ‘Candy’ is going to die within the next 70 years or so, and that would solve that for Lucifer.
Oh, and I’m not sure I like Azrael’s blade being the all-powerful burning sword and no one have figured that out earlier. I guess maybe Azrael is just really good at keeping secrets, and no one noticed that both blades were never in a room at the same time?
Lucifer, Season 2, Episode 15 (May 8, 2017) – “Deceptive Little Parasite”
I’m bumping the thread to the top in anticipation of tonight’s episode!
