A lynch of a third party is a mislynch. Do you consider it plausible that he is actually scum trying a crazy gambit? Or do you think that LUTHA represents a threat that must be addressed now?
Earlier toDay (post 63) I suggested that any other lutha deacons investigate Koldanar and report toMorrow. Why the desire to lynch him now?

When I read this I was trying to remember if there was an investigative role he could be claiming, but we seem to be out of those, so a mason seemed much more likely. Why trust another player, and be willing to state it so assuredly, if you don’t know they are town?
So it was no surprise when he claimed:
If it’s a false mason claim he won’t last long at all. What’s confusing is how everyone ignored that he outed Lakai with his trust. Maybe he didn’t mean it as the most obvious breadcrumb in mafia history, and maybe people are ignoring it so scum won’t notice it, but if it’s so obvious to me I don’t think scum could miss it. It’s even possible that he didn’t mean to imply that Lakai was a fellow mason, but he did that before officially claiming, and he italicized it and everything.
Nanook, why are you voting for a probable mason? Did you miss the italics?
If Khameleon’s claim should be trusted barring a counterclaim, then Lakai should also be trusted unless someone says otherwise.
If Khameleon is false claiming mason, and there are three masons not keeping up, how do you see him surviving to end game? Any one of them could pop up at any time and counterclaim him, or worst case they could all be modkilled and then Khameleon would be outed. Why smudge a claimed mason like this?
Did you also miss Khameleon’s breadcrumb? Why look back at Lakai at this point, with the assumption he might be scum?
I feel like I’ve stumbled into Bizzaro Mafia. Am I just punchdrunk after the RL week I’ve had? Someone please confirm that Nanook and Johnny are either missing the obvious or I am.

You know what? I’ve repeated my opinion on Koldanar and his claim so many goddamned times over the last few Days that I’m not going to repeat myself.
Yes, I noticed the italics. If Lakai would like to claim Mason, Lakai can claim Mason. If Khameleon would like to out Lakai, Khameleon can out Lakai. I’m not going to do it for him and why on earth would you? You basically just outed a player who may or may not have had a claim forced upon them because it was “so obvious” that it must have been noticed by scum?

Hey peeps. I should get my vote out today, since I won’t have time tomorrow. I could revive my vote for TexCat again, but I’m not sure what she’s been up to the last weeks. Anyone have a short review of her they’d like to share? Anyone else wanna try to convince me to join in on their case? It’s not lazyness, I promise, I’m just swamped and have too much other things on the table right now.
I’ll be less busy sometime next week, I think. I was kinda hoping to be eliminated before the 17th of Feb, as I knew I’d be way too busy to play properly. Sorry guys.
Yes, you have repeatidly cast doubts on LUTHA, Koldanar being the most recent. Captain Klutz asks the key question, though, which I’m not sure you have ever really answered. Do you think Koldanar is scum false claiming cult, or do you think all the cult members so far have been lying about being non-exclusive?
Remember, the point is to win. And to win town needs to kill the wolves and mafia. If cult is non-exclusive they count towards town’s win condition, and against scum’s.
Town wins when 14 Scum players are dead. Scum wins when either team is greater than 50% of the population.
Johnny, do you think the LUTHA wincon is non-exclusive?

Yes, it’s been a rough week. And I’ve had a lot of them during the course of the game. I’m sorry I even brought it up, but I’m sleep deprived and after catching up on the game last night I couldn’t believe the horrible play I was seeing. So much so I asked that others chime in to see if I was out in left field.
I expected your vote. I’m an easy target due to my low participation, and you like easy targets.
I shouldn’t have been modkilled, but thanks for that. My participation has been low, which is anti-game, and I feel bad that I signed up thinking I would make time for the game but have had a hard time doing so. On the other hand I think your participation, prolific as it is, has been anti-town. I haven’t decided if I think you’re scum or not, but you are hurting town and deserve to be called on it.
If Lakai wants to claim mason, or Khameleon wants to do it directly for him, then I’ll move my vote. I’m not going to assume an “obvious” breadcrumb actually is a breadcrumb in game where we’ve had vanilla town proclaiming exactly the same thing repeatedly. Remember paul and angel? Angel and like 5 other people? Remember all the meta discussion from 3-4 Days ago? Don’t assume it’s a tell rather than more of the same.

I find Johnny’s behavior today very scummy. First, there is his vote for Koldanar, when it is the Town win condition to kill scum, not cult members. In his last post he mentions that Koldanar admitted to editing his role PM, but all Koldanar did was bold or underline a part of it. Nothing really deceitful to merit suspicion of covering up a hostile win condition.
Then, after Khameleon claims, Johnny tries to cast doubt on her claim by saying he can’t be confident there are other masons watching.
And then he does an analysis of my posts and says that Khameleon had an “egregious “me too” vote” on Nanook. I think after she claimed mason it should be pretty obvious why she made that vote.
It seems like every post he makes is advocating an anti-town action.
I think the cat’s out of the bag now and I should say that I am a mason and so is Khameleon.

I hate to keep harping on the italics, but that’s more than vanilla town saying “I think this guy is town.” This situation here is very different. Khameleon clearly outed Lakai, while magic bagging mason. Johnny Bravo says he saw the breadcrumb. Did you?
