the utilities, post office, media company, and insurance agent know I am moving. My work here is doner
Happy Thorsday!
It’s 25 degrees above freezing and my toes are cold.
I finished my stint with piddle-pup and I need a nap.
Dear CP
If the government starts taxing people 100% for everything over a million dollars, how much more money will the IRS collect each year?
My power company does this. Invariably, a half hour after the power is restored at 0130.
Thank goodness for Good Samaritans. I was on my way home from dropping the kids off at school and making a quick run to the grocery store, when my right back tire blew. I had to pull over in front of a business. One guy pulled into the drive, clearly saw me struggling to change the tire myself, and drove off. Another gentleman was coming out the the business and saw that I needed help, and without even asking came over with his tire changing supplies and changed my tire. My husband couldn’t get to me because he was at a hospital downtown and I needed to get back to the house with perishables, so I was so happy I got help.
Apes yay for Good Samaritans! Also, did you happen to get the license plate of that ungood person who drove off so we can trace it to his address so’s we can send him a dozen hungry, angry Sri Lankan spiders each with eight pointy sticks?
flytrap what’s a church without a little police drama once in a while, right?
Spidey know what’s better than Buffet tickets? Buffet tickets with a free buffet afterwards!
Rosie I love it! Your work here is not just done, it’s doner!
I killded the MMP again!
Howdy from da cave. Gonna get an early dindin heated up and then go play in ice. Envy me!
FML.
I don’t feel like being at work today, especially now that I’ve mortally embarrassed myself.
Just heard through the grapevine that Old Neighbor Fred From Across The Road In Cottonfield County died a week anna half ago, and is already taken care of. Hmph.
You’d get a kick out of this quip. Starts at 19:01 and goes to about 19:15 or so.
I thought you’d killed the SDMB for a while.
We let Ledo’s make supper. I’ve got a load in the washer of stuff we’ll want this weekend. I’ll move the sprinkler one more time to make sure our yard is happy in our absence. And I’ll finish making my sweetie’s helmet liner. Tomorrow, we’ll pack and stuff.
We’re taking the laptop, so I should be able to check in from the motel - it supposedly has wifi…
Home from ice maker clean out over to the church house. I have a new key even. Turns out our sexton has a history of drug dealin’, assault and battery, theft by takin’ and other not good stuff. The police went to arrest him at his residence this mornin’ and he jumped in his car and took off. The police abandoned the chase because he was zippin’ through downtown runnin’ red lights and such. His car was later found abandoned. The police came to the church because they knew he worked there and wanted to search the buildin’ in case he was hidin’ out. Thus, all the locks have been changed. Ya never know about people. To meet him and talk to him, our former sexton was one of the nicest persons you could ever meet. Needless to say, a criminal background check will be performed before anyone else is hired.
So now, we are without someone to clean. Thus, da bear and several others will meet up on Sattidy mornin’ and clean the place up. Yeah, I know y’all want my life for real now.
Dear Not A Girl,
I must have been drinking when I answered your letter.
Could you possibly run that by again?
Dipsomaniac regards,
CP
Sorry for your loss.
Dear CP,
Why is it Thurdsay already?
Signed,
Tempus Fugit
We do not need to send spiders to Spineydoc’s office.
He walks into the room today, looks at me and says “you’re not doing too well, are you?” The short version is that after 15 years of pain, it’s time to do a lumbar fusion, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do at the end of June.
Laundry is done. Dishes are done. Helmet liner knitting is done. I think it’s beddy-bye time.
MWAH!!
This is the journal entry. A lot of her journal stuff is great. I can find the start of the twitter conversation, but you basically have to read her feed for several hours.
Hi!
Well, at least it’s not a Man With a Spider.
Jimmy had another cameo on Hawaii 5-0 this week. dogbutler-Serious Parrothead

Yay for fusion, gotti!
swampy, that sort of thing doesn’t surprise me anymore. One of my emplyees actually being a giant spider in a person suit would surprise me.
Yay for help. Apes!
