Moanday Means A New MMP

Supped on soup and assorted salad-like veggies. I got the dishes done and the dishwasher has just finished running. I’m about to assume the chill position on my recliner.

I kept thinking today’s Thursday. Dammit. :stuck_out_tongue:

You wanna know about availability for stuff. Twentz here and my irk there are 4 total major grocery stores. A few mom and pops Cuban stores. The majors are two WD’s an hour apart. There are two Publixes all 30 miles from my home. No Wallmart, Kroger or various grocers.

Location,location,location.

We don’t have a Piggly Wiggly either. WTF. I remember back in the day when our PW was the only grocer in my neck of the woods and they gave S&H stamps. It really ingrained in us youngun’s the art of free stuff.

BTW the merge did not irk. I think we should call dibs each week. I nominate Swampy since he is a man of liesure OR FCGM ** OR Doggiooo. Or Sari. Can’t fount on Metal Mouse since he is traveling the world. Happy funMetal Mouse**, be safe, and post every few days.

Can someone confirm these got merged? From my side it looks like they did around 6:15 PM, but I’m getting reports they still need to be merged.

Please let me know.

Worked dragged like a Yugo missing the two rear wheels. More tomorrow.

I bought beer at the southernmost Winn-Dixie.

I may end up shopping at Harris Teeter. It’s pricey, but I don’t like the Food Lion selection.

I was trying too. I wonder what was going on?

They look merged to me…

Up, packed, and shortly will be dressed. I should be around for the July 9th MMP, depending on internet accessability, so all y’all play nice now.

Happy Thorsday!

Up too early thanks to my bladder.
Once up I am up, but I can make time for a nap later.

It’s still dark outside so I have no idea what the day will be. It’s supposed to be another rainy day, with a high around 80.
I’m debating turning off the AC, it’s not going to be hot for the next few days but it’s probably going to be humid.

I have to try to remember to make some important phone calls today. I hate making phone calls when I have to talk to people instead of systems.

Other than that, nothing special on the agenda today.
I have a load of towels to do, and a load of wash clothes. Separate loads since the towels are black and the wash cothes are white.
I should get that started while my son is sleeping, but if I get up to do that then the dog will wake up and want outside, and the cat will come in to eat, which will wake the dog up all the way and instead of going back to bed he will get wired chasing the cat, and the cat will start his yowling, hissing, and spitting because the dog won’t leave him alone, then I’ll get pissed at both of them and yell at the cat for being too stupid to jump up on something where the dog can’t reach him, and yell at the dog for chewing on the cat and threaten to send him back to his biological mom, and get even more pissed because they will pause to look at me and then go right back to what they were doing.

I’m enjoying the quiet too much to ruin it with laundry.

The threads look merged to me.

Have fun!

Mornin’ all.

Remember last week, when a friend I was planning on trying to meet up with visitin’ the old city showed up here instead? We went to a local attraction for a few hours before I headed off, then 10 minutes after I left, she bumped into another mutual friend who I knew through the same juggling club… I know England’s pretty small, but it’s not normally that small.
Had a nice few days, met up with people, saw a dentist, overspent a bit, and I’m getting pretty sick of the several hour drive there 'n back.

Just off to check on the small buzzy things and the allotment. Looks like being a very sunny week!

**Butters **- your lack of certain retail establishments is the price of living in a tropical paradise! :stuck_out_tongue:

Happy Summer Solstice! Or winter solstice if you live in one of them upside-down continents.

I think I’ll start my day by clearing assorted small tasks off my desk and taking a break from the big one. I arrived to a pile of drawings on my chair - that’s how far the overflow is going!! So that’s the big plan.

Happy Thursday!!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work.

Safe travels, MetalMouse. I’m sure the locals will point out the best places to see. After all, 50 million Chinese can’t be Wong.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 74 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 96 and mostly cloudy this afternoon accordin’ to TWPTB but only a twenty percent chance of rain. Weather be weird. The big item on the agenda is seein’ the doc at nine a.m. Cubed steak ‘n gravy, smashed N.O.T., green beans and left over veggies from last night shall make up sup this evenin’.

MetalMouse have fun! Post if’n you can. I’d say we’ll use coasters but I don’t think you care one way or the other.

Nuts welcome back! Glad you had a good time.

Happy Official First Day of Summer or Fall dependin’ on where ya are!

Soapy and Loach thanks for the merge. I’ll try to be less stooped in the future but no guarantees.

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then, since I am to go about the public, I suppose I should purtify and don appropriate clothin’. Bother!

Happy Thursday Y’all!

Irking from home today because I have to meet the farrier at 11-ish. Ariel needs a new pair of shoes! I’d rather work at my desk at irk though. I just don’t feel professional at home in my jammies with the cat. It’s raining and expected to rain all day. I packed up 2 shopping bags of books to donate to the local liberry. I’m purging what no longer serves me just in case I get the opportunity to move to Scotland…

Up early today. We’re watching my brother’s dog while his family is on vacation. His dog is used to his family being up at 5:30-6:00. In my family, I’m usually the first riser at 6:30. The dog was not having that. She was barking before 6.

More irk today, maybe some browsing online for used cars if I need a mental break.

[QUOTE=Cat Dude, was that a rant disguised as an MMP post, or an MMP post that you were ranting on about? Makes no matter, just curious. We all have (or had) cow-orkers that we had to bear; sorry that yours is right next door.[/QUOTE]

I would say a non-Pit Worthy mini-rant.

Depending on your insurance and/or financial situation, the Xarelto manufacturer has financial assistance. I have excellent insurance through my employer with manageable copays for otherwise crazy expensive drugs (Airman takes Humira and I take a new! improved! version of topamax), but thanks to the generosity of the manufacturers, we only pay five bucks for the Humira and nothing for mine, where my insurance has copays of thirty bucks for each. So it’s worth looking into.

I survived an overnight camping trip at Boy Scout camp that involved radio, rain, boys, and a black rat snake that the ecology counselor caught and brought to the ecology shed. I’m sore from all the walking I had to do and from the sleep I didn’t get, but I had a great time and I got a lot of great ideas and resources to bring back to my own troop.

Today’s agenda, since I don’t have a trip to prepare for, is sloth, followed by laziness, and if all goes well, getting together with a friend for ice cream to celebrate our mutual birthdays. (Hers was yesterday and mine is next Tuesday.) I do have to go to Sam’s Club for paper towels but that’s the most productive thing I have to do that doesn’t involve physical survival.

Blurfish Irking of course. One of my clerks had a dentist appt so I on backup in case the room fills up with customers. We have been incredibly busy.

Blurf

Arrgh-Kansas is filled w/ stoopit people . :dubious:

I should point out that not being the craziest one in Wally World is not an indication of being relatively mentally healthy. :o
Have to make some phone calls to follow up on the two police reports that were filed last night. At least one person won’t be employed after one of those calls. The other is to [del]Gestapo HQ[/del] the Parking ‘Authority’*.

  • No, that’s an unfair comparison, as bad & as vile & as murderous as they were I bet not every single person on the planet detested the Gestapo.
