SDMB Secret Santa Exchange

Got my Santee, and I already have a few good ideas for what to get 'em.

I’ve got one more person who wants to sign up, so if anyone else is interested, please let me know, and I’ll match you with this person.

I’m already signed up, but I haven’t received my giftee assignment yet. My e-mail is in my profile.

Mine went out this morning with four other Xmas packages…speeding its way West!

Hmm. I sent it yesterday, I have it in my sent box, and it’s to the same e-mail in your profile. I’m sending it again. Check your spam box?

Okay! I have my giftee’s name and addy, now…and am prepared to shop! I expect my gift to wing it’s way east beginning this Saturday, when I ship many of my other items out of state.

I’ve made a List and will be shopping tomorrow (and hopefully finding something good!).

Yes, but did you check it twice?

Done.

Purchased mine promptly, but am now procrastinating on getting it on its way. My best guess is that I’ll mail it Monday, since I’ll also need to mail amarinth my copy of the Mormon Pride and Prejudice for her upcoming P&P fest over the holidays.

Voila! FTR: Netflix doesn’t have it, but I was so tickled by the very premise that I went ahead and bought a copy immediately upon hearing about it (in an IM conversation with Amarinth). It just came yesterday – I’ll watch it this weekend if not before and report in Cafe Society.

There is a semi-Bollywoodish version of it that I’ve watched several times what I cannot remember for the life of me what the title is. When my brain cramp ends, I’ll let you know.

Bride and Prejudice

Already own it. (My sister the English teacher was a bit :dubious: when I suggested we watch it the last time she was over, but ended up loving it.)

You, me, and Amarinth, apparently – remember, she’s the one having the P&P film festival (including both of these, plus the BBC version, plus the recent movie version).

I’m in. I’ve never done one of these, but it sounds fun!

I don’t know what I’d want or not. Hmm. Clothes are out, unless we’re talking funny socks or something, because I’m impossible to fit. My favorite color is dark blue. I love candles and celestial themed stuff.

But really, surprise me. It’s more fun that way.

Pssst, in addtion to email and PM, I’ll mention here that Anaamika said you typoed your PO box…the package went towards it starting yesterday so you may want to give the post office a heads-up.

I love the wedding dance at the beginning.

Thank you, 'mika, for letting me in at the last minute.
