I got mine today. Thanks RickQ! I knew I was in for a treat when the return address said “Hand over the chocolate and no one will get hurt.”
I got a big bag of double chocolate cocoa mix, with an adorable litte scoop and a nice big mug to drink it out of. Now I’ll get some little marshmellows and wait for winter to arrive. It only last a few days, but I’ll be ready for it.

I’m such a doof. I had trouble sending my present due to complications. So I sat down today and realized that the complications were mine! ARGH! Anyway, my secret santa gift has been sent out today. I went home for lunch yesterday, and saw a package on the porch, and got all excited, but it was only stoopid presents for my stoopid kids from my stoopid brother-in-law and stoopid sister-in-law out in stoopid Ohio.
This is stoopid. I didn’t want a present anyway. Sucks to Secret Santa.
Anyway, maybe it’ll come tomorrow.

My SS gift was mailed yesterday. It may be cutting it close but it should make it in time.
I expect a 20 lb. box of Godiva chocolates any day now! 
I just wanted my SS to know that I am going out of town tommarrow and won’t be back until the 27th so don’t sweat getting mine here before Christmas to much. Also I have not heard from my giftee yet and I sent it over a week ago. The man at the post office promised me it would be there in three days. //\etalhead|) did you get it yet? I am dying to know what you thought of it.
Well, so far, USPS Priority Mail has let me down. I mailed my package on Dec 16, and according to delivery confirmation, it still hasn’t been delivered. So either it’s sitting in a post office at the destination waiting to be picked up by the recipient, or they lied about 2-3 day delivery.

I got mine today! It came FedEx to work, and it feels like a book. I can’t wait, but I’m going to hold out until Christmas to open it up.
I sent mine last week.
And I recieved mine last Wednesday, but I haven’t opened it yet…

I happen to know a very strange, very strong woman who has been checking this thread about 40 times a day to see if you’d received a parcel and has been driving me mental with her “Will she like them?” panic attacks.
Open it or kill me, please, I cannot cope anymore…
Hmmm. Should we be getting an acknowledgement from our giftee? I am worried that he might not have gotten his. It was sent about three weeks ago…

Oh, I sent mine out (wrapped by the way) earlier this week. It should arrive before Christmas.
And in case my SS is getting nervous, my mom told me ages ago that my gift showed up happily on our doorstep. I just don’t get home until Christmas Eve, so I’ll report on the coolest Secret Santa gift then. (Its sitting under our tree, if it didn’t show up wrapped its wrapped now. My mom has thus decreed that this year everything goes under the tree and is wrapped.)
Awrsgh… my giftee hasn’t posted to say if they got the package yet… I’m getting nervous. They said it’d be there by Christmas, though. I guess I’ll just have to wait.
I got the most AMAZING present in the mail yesterday. Or I should say we got the most amazing present.
Thank you thank you thank you, Scotticher! Your generosity is amazing. Especially considering that you weren’t even my assigned Secret Santa. And since you sent something to your official giftee, I can only assume it was a BONUS present!!
I was going to open the package on Christmas, but my best friend was over, and she was so amazed and excited that I was getting presents in the mail from “imaginary friends” that she made me open it. And boy was she impressed.
I got a wonderful basket filled with yummy goodies. Yum yum yum! And believe it or not, I needed a basket just that size. I love goodie baskets.
And the Sprout received the cutest little baby suit. It’s made of velour and has feet and is rugby-style in yellow and navy. (Cheri, how did you know that was exactly what he needed? I just had to put away a similar suit that had gotten too small for him. And it’s just his style, too.)
And he got an adorable giraffe stuffed animal/puppet. I only had one other puppet for him, so that’s really great. I can now put on a puppet show for him, but what a giraffe and an octopus will say to each other, I don’t know!
Anyway, the Sprout’s gifts are going under the tree, so he hasn’t seen them yet. I’m sure he’ll love them.
