I REALLY wanted to get you something gadgety. The kind of thing you would never dream of buying for yourself but something that’d be fun to have all the same. I looked everywhere, and they had one of those clocks on display at Discovery Channel Store, so I amused myself for a while and then thought - HEY! SECRET SANTA! She mentioned she likes cool things.

I sent mine Priority last Friday - I hope it arrived by now! In fact, I sent it, plus 3 other packages to some other friends, and none have acknowledged getting theirs, either. Suddenly I wish I’d gotten the tracking thingies for them.

I am still waiting for the presents I ordered on the 5th to get to me. I have the package all ready and waiting, so as soon as they get here I am slipping them into the box with the others and mailing it out Priority. I hope they get there before the big day; if I’d had any idea it would take this long to get the stuff I would have just gone to the mall or something. 
Mine was sent yesterday! Still havent recieved one yet.
Bought mine today, and I SHOULD mail it tomorrow!
I am in technical violation of the silly ‘guidelines’ about cost, but not by much, and it’s too cool to have passed up, so Ho Ho Ho…
The mail seems extra slow this year. I’m still waiting on something I ordered for my son on Dec. 4. Lastyear, I ordered things around the same time, and they arrived within the week.
I’m glad you like it. I spent so much time sniffing candles at the Yankee Candle shop that the salesgirls were looking at me funny. 
I love to pick out scented candles, but hardly ever burn them, so it was fun to have an excuse to sniff candles again.

There was a box waiting for me when I got home, but alas it was not from my Doper Santa. Just some presents for the kitty. Right now she’s going nuts with her new catnip mousie. I expect I will exhibit the same reaction when my Doper gift arrives…

Okay, I went out and bought my Secret Santa presents for my person today. I will mail them tomorrow. They should get there before Christmas. I’ll post after I mail them.
DeHusband had his eyeballs sliced open today. OK OK call is LASIK if you want but you’re not living with a very grumpy, very sleepy man in space goggles. So there I am, lying in bed this afternoon, defending DeHusband from several overly concerned cats, when the door bell rings… SnakesCatLady sent me a prezzie! Yippee!! And the post office has been holding it hostage since Tuesday. Big meanies. “We didn’t leave it cause it was raining on Tuesday.” Heh. That’s great. Shut up and give me the box. Stoopid post office rules.
So I scurry back inside. “Is it for me?” DeHusband calls feebly from the bed. *Nope. It’s a box for me. Go back to sleep. * … Sound of box being furiously untaped 'cause I can’t waste time looking for a knife. “Shouldn’t you wait to open the gift 'til Christmas?” 
What is this “waiting” of which you speak. The box is here now. I must answer the call of the box.
And what a box it is. First a cool kitty Christmas card. And a note! Boy, SecretSanta, you spent a whole lot more time on this than I did for mine. OOoo Green Tea. Then Glitter Pens! And purple bracelets! And a Christmassy necklace and earrings! Then chemical light bracelets. OOOOooh a can of silly string. And the world’s coolest beaded bookmark! And a Ballerina BUNNY! <<swoon>>
